By choosing to abandon the role of spectator and actively inviting itself in internal and external politics of the country, the Gabonese diaspora has literally just been born; and it wants to be strong and is determined to liberate Gabon from the scourge of the Bongos who smother it.

When Ali Bongo terrorizes the Gabonese people by deploying security forces in the streets, the Gabonese diaspora takes over and continues in several countries to echo the suffering people that is claiming its victory and its desire to see the Bongos removed from power in Gabon. The Gabonese diaspora is strong today because, of course although it is located outside the nation, it claims with force, by its support for the Gabonese people who are within the country, its protestation and its unfailing mobilization, a right to intervene in national events and trends.

If Ali Bongo thinks that the Gabonese people will capitulate, he is mistaken; because if he can sequester Gabonese inside the country, he cannot silence those in the diaspora and it is the synergy established between the Gabonese of the interior and exterior, which will keep pressure on this regime until its fall.

We will not give up; 2016 will not be 2009!

En choisissant d’abandonner le rôle de spectateur et en s’invitant activement dans la vie politique intérieure et extérieure du pays, la diaspora Gabonaise vient littéralement de naitre ; et elle se veut forte et déterminée à libérer le Gabon du fléau des Bongo qui l’étouffe.

Quand Ali Bongo terrorise les Gabonais en déployant les forces de l’ordre dans la rue, la diaspora Gabonaise prend le relais et continue dans plusieurs pays, à se faire l’écho de ce peuple meurtri qui revendique sa victoire et son désir de voir les Bongo partir du pouvoir au Gabon. La diaspora Gabonaise est forte aujourd’hui car, naturellement, bien qu’elle soit située hors de la nation, elle revendique avec force, par son soutien au peuple Gabonais de l’intérieur, sa contestation et sa mobilisation sans faille, un droit de regard sur les évènements nationaux et leurs évolutions.

Si Ali Bongo pense que les Gabonais capituleront, il se trompe ; car s’il peut séquestrer les Gabonais de l’intérieur, il ne peut faire taire ceux de la diaspora et c’est la synergie s’établissant entre les Gabonais de l’intérieur et de l’extérieur, qui va maintenir la pression sur ce régime, jusqu'à sa chute.

On ne lâche rien ; 2016 ne sera pas 2009 !
