Ali Bongo has massacred many Gabonese, using violence and terror to stay in power. Although he was sworn in and was inducted as Head of State, it is universally clear that Ali Bongo was not the choice of the Gabonese people. That is why he is now recoiled in Gabon, not daring to go outside because he is welcome nowhere; especially in Western countries where he likes to go show off.

The first international coming out of Ali Bongo will undoubtedly be the organization of the African Cup of Nations in January 2017 in Gabon. It is obvious that Ali Bongo would want to use that occasion to fall back into favor within the African and global political landscape.

It is clear that this sporting event will take place in a fresh context of repression and terror, which is likely to result in calls for a boycott by most of the Gabonese population. We will have a CAN that will oppose once again, Ali Bongo versus the Gabonese people; and in this confrontation, Ali Bongo will use the Gabonese national team as his propaganda tool.

Ali Bongo sees the organization of CAN, as a way to improve his image in the eyes of the international community. The Gabonese population has to raise its voice and work seriously to boycott this competition and boycott the country's national team if necessary, because this team is now subservient to Ali Bongo who uses it as a tool for propaganda. Through the ACN, Ali Bongo wants to present before the world the communion between players and fans, all united behind him, which will be obviously a falsehood.

We must together make an appeal to all Gabonese, sports enthusiasts and non-sports enthusiasts, fans or not, to tell them that this ACN shall in no way receive our approval or our support, because we are the people, we are the victims of Ali Bongo, and we represent what is more legitimate in this country. The ACN should not play to please a dictatorship that assassinates freedom.

Ali Bongo vient de massacrer un grand nombre de Gabonais, en utilisant la violence et la terreur pour se maintenir au pouvoir. Même s’il a prêté serment et s’est intronisé Chef d’Etat, il est universellement clair qu’Ali Bongo n’ait pas été le choix des Gabonais. C’est pour cette raison qu’il est désormais consigné au Gabon, n’osant plus mettre le nez dehors car il n’est le bienvenu nulle part ; surtout dans les pays occidentaux où il aime bien aller se faire voir.

La première sortie internationale d’Ali Bongo sera indéniablement l’organisation de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations en Janvier 2017 au Gabon. Il est évident qu’Ali Bongo voudrait s’en servir pour revenir en odeur de sainteté dans le panorama politique Africain et mondial.

Il est clair que cette compétition sportive aura lieu dans un contexte frais de répression et de terreur, ce qui occasionnera vraisemblablement des appels au boycott par une grande partie de la population Gabonaise. Nous aurons donc une CAN qui opposera encore une fois Ali Bongo au peuple Gabonais ; et dans cette confrontation, Ali Bongo se servira de l’équipe nationale du Gabon comme de son instrument de propagande.

Ali Bongo voit à travers l’organisation de la CAN, le moyen d’améliorer son image aux yeux de la communauté internationale. La population Gabonaise doit élever sa voix et travailler sérieusement au boycott de cette compétition et au boycott de l’équipe nationale du pays s’il le faut, car cette équipe est aujourd’hui inféodée à Ali Bongo qui s’en sert comme outil de propagande. Par le truchement de la CAN, Ali Bongo veut présenter à la face du monde la communion entre joueurs et supporters, tous unis derrière lui, ce qui ne sera évidemment qu’une mise en scène.

Nous devons lancer ensemble un appel à tous les Gabonais, sportifs et non sportifs, supporters ou non, pour leur dire que cette CAN ne doit aucunement recevoir notre assentiment, ni notre support, car nous sommes le peuple, nous sommes les victimes d’Ali Bongo, et nous représentons ce qu’il y a de plus légitime dans ce pays. La CAN ne doit pas se jouer pour plaire à une dictature qui assassine la liberté.
