In an interview on Tuesday, Jean Ping reiterated his refusal to dialogue with Ali Bongo, except in the case of his departure. This position is in line with that of the Gabonese resistance, which is more mobilized than ever.

By renewing this position, Jean Ping transforms Ali Bongo's dialogue into an exercise in futility, because the latter will find himself in a dialogue with René Ndemezo'Obiang and Louis Gaston Mayila, people lacking any political representativeness.

One does not dialogue with the dictators, one gets rid of them. This popular adage could summarize the position of the Gabonese resistant who are tired of living under a regime that does not want a responsible, free, and autonomous population able to choose its own leaders.

Regarding its opposition to Ali Bongo, the Gabonese resistance has reached the point of no return. There is no compromise possible. It is a great hypocrisy to talk about dialogue with Ali Bongo, when the latter has done nothing else in seven years but to gag the Gabonese people, to terrorize them, to impose a virtual war on them. There is no compromise possible, because we are dealing with a totalitarian regime that cannot accept the idea of a free Gabon.

One does not dialogue with the dictators, one gets rid of them. Jean Ping has understood this.

Dans une interview ce mardi, Jean Ping a réitéré son refus de dialoguer avec Ali Bongo, sauf dans le cas du départ de ce dernier. Cette position est en phase avec la posture de la résistance Gabonaise qui, est plus mobilisée que jamais.

En renouvelant cette posture, Jean Ping transforme ainsi le dialogue d’Ali Bongo en un exercice en futilité, car ce dernier va se retrouver en train de dialoguer avec René Ndemezo’Obiang et Louis Gaston Mayila, des gens dépourvus d’une quelconque représentativité politique.

On ne dialogue pas avec les dictateurs, on s’en débarrasse. Cet adage populaire pourrait résumer la position des résistants Gabonais qui en ont assez de vivre sous un régime qui ne veut pas d’une population responsable, libre, autonome et capable de choisir elle-même ses dirigeants.

En ce qui concerne son opposition à Ali Bongo, la résistance Gabonaise a atteint le point de non-retour. Il n'y a aucun compromis possible. C'est une grande hypocrisie de parler de dialogue avec Ali Bongo, quand ce dernier n’a rien fait d’autre depuis 7 ans que de bâillonner les Gabonais, les terroriser, leur imposer une quasi guerre. Il n'y a pas de compromis possible, car nous avons affaire à un régime totalitaire qui ne peut pas accepter l'idée d'un Gabon libre.

On ne dialogue pas avec les dictateurs, on s’en débarrasse. Jean Ping l’a compris.
