ONCE MINISTER IN GABON, PEOPLE THINK THAT THEY CAN DO ANYTHING THEY PLEASE. DÈS QU’ON EST MINISTRE DE BONGO, ON SE CROIT TOUT PERMIS

English version

In Gabon, the holders of power believe that they can do anything and this is a very contagious affliction. So much so that as soon as they are appointed, very shortly thereafter, they start treating their fellowmen as less than nothing, hardly recognizing to them a status of human being deserving respect and deference.

Patrick Eyogho-Edzang, one of Ali Bongo's new recruits, has just demonstrated this serious disease that is the arrogance of the social climber. Indeed, in a telephone conversation, he does not refrain from expressing to his interlocutor to whom he reproaches to "talk about him", oh the crime, direct and unambiguous threats of physical aggression.

But dear readers, enough is enough! We are seriously fed up with all those ministers and associates of Ali Bongo who think they can do as they please. They think they can do anything they want, but because they are the law, no one would dare to touch them.

The members of this oligarchy, the efflorescence of this ruling caste, think themselves untouchable, above the law, because we are seated, holed, curled up. We must not let them get away with that; we must express our discontent.

Power makes them all crazy. Money and the desire for money make them sink into the worst vices and behaviors that the people cannot accept. When we listen to what Patrick Eyogho said, who the hell he thinks he is? Does he ever look at himself in a mirror?

Here is another proof of why we must never give up!
