Gabon needs more than ever all of its children; both those who are on the national territory and those who have gone abroad.

Gabonese living abroad do so for various reasons:

1. The need to open up to the world and to know other experiences more enriching than those that one could have in Gabon. This is the case of those who go to continue their studies abroad.

2. For political reasons. The political climate in Gabon has never been more stifling and frustrating than today.

3. For economic reasons. It is obvious that in a context where corruption is a mode of governance, to know prosperity without giving into dishonesty becomes a challenge.

It is now obvious to any honest person that Gabon cannot continue on its current trajectory. Many Gabonese in the diaspora have decided to make their contribution to the collective construction of a freer Gabon.

The Bongo regime views the activism of the Gabonese diaspora in a bad light; the proof is that the embassy of Gabon in Paris now denies some activists of the diaspora, consular services that are otherwise normal state duties. It is a means of pressure that this embassy and therefore those in power want to use.

Although living outside Gabon, the diaspora continues to maintain a strong link with the country, because it remains aware and convinced of the great potential that Gabon has. But this potential is systematically destroyed by the Bongo regime!

Today, faced with a particularly draconian Bongo regime, the Gabonese diaspora has become the main provider of advocacy actions. This deeply irritates the regime!

People who have left Gabon and by the force of their own merit, have become doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, scientists, writers, teachers or entrepreneurs, can no longer accept to receive from a despicable person like Brice Laccruche-Alihanga , an injunction of the type: "who sulks, moves". When they see people like André Dieudonné Berre, bowing to Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, they are troubled for the country.

The Gabonese diaspora wants a prosperous, free and democratic country. This is why it is fighting to end the Bongo era.

Le Gabon a plus que jamais besoin de tous ses enfants, aussi bien de ceux qui sont sur le territoire national que ceux qui sont partis à l’étranger.

Les Gabonais qui vivent à l’étranger le font pour diverses raisons :

1. Le besoin de s’ouvrir au monde et de connaitre d’autres expériences plus enrichissantes que celles qu’on pourrait avoir au Gabon. C’est le cas de ceux qui vont poursuivre leurs études à l’étranger.

2. Pour des raisons politiques. Le climat politique au Gabon n’a jamais été plus étouffant et frustrant qu’aujourd’hui.

3. Pour des raisons économiques. Il est évident que dans un contexte où la corruption est un mode de gouvernance, connaitre la prospérité sans verser dans la malhonnêteté devient un challenge.

Il est aujourd’hui évident à toute personne honnête que le Gabon ne peut pas continuer sur sa trajectoire actuelle. De nombreux Gabonais de la diaspora ont décidé d’apporter leur pierre à l’édifice, dans la construction collective d’un Gabon plus libre.

Le régime Bongo regarde l’activisme de la diaspora Gabonaise d’un très mauvais œil ; la preuve en est que l’ambassade du Gabon à Paris refuse désormais à certains activistes de la diaspora les services consulaires qui du reste sont du domaine étatique normal. C’est un moyen de pression que veut utiliser cette ambassade et donc ce pouvoir.

Bien que vivant hors du Gabon, la diaspora continue d’entretenir un lien fort avec le pays, car elle reste consciente et persuadée du très fort potentiel qu’a le Gabon. Mais potentiel systématiquement détruit par le régime Bongo !

Aujourd’hui, face à un régime Bongo particulièrement liberticide, la diaspora Gabonaise est devenue la principale pourvoyeuse d’actions de revendication. Cela irrite profondément le régime !

Des gens ayant quitté le Gabon et à la force du mérite, étant devenus médecins, avocats, ingénieurs, architectes, scientifiques, écrivains, enseignants ou entrepreneurs, ne peuvent plus accepter de recevoir de la part d’un être méprisable comme Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, une injonction du type : « qui boude, bouge ». Quand ils voient des personnes comme André Dieudonné Berre, courber l’échine devant Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, ils ont de la peine pour le pays.

La diaspora Gabonaise veut d’un pays prospère, libre et démocratique. Voici pourquoi elle se bat pour en finir avec les Bongo.
