PASCALINE BONGO FINALIZES THE SALE OF THE TELESUD CHANNEL TO A CAMEROONIAN! PASCALINE BONGO FINALISE LA VENTE DE LA CHAINE TELESUD À UN CAMEROUNAIS !

Image
English Version   In 2008, Pascaline Bongo offered herself the Télésud channel in France, a year before the creation of Africa-24, with the ambition of making it the flagship of African audiovisual; a kind of Africa Number 1 television version.   This chain has never really convinced anyone and after a decade of up and down activities, it closed down in 2019, after being found by the Commercial Court of Paris as being in default of payment. It should be noted that the channel was continuously bailed out by the Gabonese Public Treasury, illegally because it has never been included among the State assets.   According to some indiscretions, since 2008, the Gabonese Public Treasury paid the Telesud channel, 375,000 euros per month, or about 246 million CFA francs. The justification for these payments was disguised as obeying a contract between this channel and the Gabonese State for services consisting in promoting Gabon on the air.   Until August 2022, the Gabonese

THE CONTEMPORARY AFRICAN FAMILY SEEMS TO BE NOTHING MORE THAN A NEST OF HYPOCRITES! LA FAMILLE AFRICAINE CONTEMPORAINE NE SEMBLE PLUS ÊTRE QU’UN NID D’HYPOCRITES !

English Version   The case of Paul and Mathias Pogba, which broke out this weekend in the Pogba family, features Paul accusing his brother Mathias of extortion in an organized gang. Mathias and accomplices allegedly blackmailed Paul, asking him to pay them the sum of 12 million euros.   Paul Pogba was born in France, but his family is fundamentally African, in both good and bad senses; and this case demonstrates that.   Indeed, in Africa in general, since in all countries more than half of the inhabitants still live below the poverty line, the vast majority of them have to rely on a son, aunt, cousin or friend to survive economically. This social dependence is also found in the African diaspora in the West, where in families, the child who has made a fortune becomes the target of all the brothers and cousins who want to live on his hooks. If this relative refuses to distribute his money to the family, he is called all the bad names; this is what is unfortunately h

IT IS CLEAR THAT EVEN INTERNALLY, THE BONGO REGIME IS AFRAID OF COMPETENT PEOPLE! IL EST CLAIR QUE MÊME EN INTERNE, LE RÉGIME BONGO A PEUR DES GENS COMPÉTENTS !

English Version   On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, Ali Bongo was struck in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, by a stroke that now keeps him in the role of absent, if not intermittent, president.   At the time, the French daily Le Monde informed us that to ensure the continuity of the State during Ali Bongo's disability, a troika had been set up. It was composed of: Frédéric Bongo, the director general of the special services of the Republican Guard at the time, and especially brother of Ali Bongo; Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, Ali Bongo's chief of staff at the time; and finally, Marie-Madeleine Mborantsuo, the president of the Constitutional Court who is still in office. It is here, dear readers, that we realize how much this regime fears the competent Gabonese.   Indeed, at a time when the country needed stability at the top of the State, the regime demonstrated its distrust of competent Gabonese and technocrats, by entrusting the country exclusively to two members of the

THE UNBRIDLED RACE FOR FAST ENRICHMENT IS A REAL SCOURGE IN GABON ! LA COURSE EFFRÉNÉE À L’ENRICHISSEMENT RAPIDE EST UN VÉRITABLE FLÉAU AU GABON !

English version   Embezzlement, trafficking of all kinds, and colossal prebends derived from various forms of corruption, have allowed a tiny segment of Gabonese society to quickly make a fortune by ignoring the law, legislation, and moral principles present in other normal republics.   Having met no resistance from the judiciary and state bodies, and sometimes encouraged by these same state bodies, when they were not completely confused with these bodies; these Gabonese oligarchs of a new kind no longer hesitate to ostentatiously display (gigantic housing, luxury vehicles) the rentier enrichment, often forged in illegality and at the expense of others. The most serious thing is that these nouveau riches are for many Gabonese and, especially the youngest of them, perfect examples of social successes to imitate.   Cases of people starting from nothing to become very rich in a short time are frequently cited as emblematic examples to follow in a country where the

GABON HAS BECOME A PARENTOCRACY! LE GABON EST DEVENUE UNE PARENTOCRATIE!

Image
English version   A cold observation of the stratification of Gabonese society shows that more and more, the republic is disappearing to give way to a kind of parentocratic chimera. That is to say, the sons and daughters "of" now replace their parents at the head of the high administration, state companies, and institutions.   This parentocratic rise is imprinted at the top of the hierarchy in Gabon, with the Bongo who have confiscated the Presidency of the Republic. Omar Bongo cedes the throne to Ali Bongo who himself will cede it to Noureddin Bongo and so on...   Around the Bongos, the Mborantsuos do the same; the Asseles do the same; the Ngaris do the same; the Maganga-Moussavous do the same etc...   The development of this more intense monitoring of the succession of parents by their children in the management of public affairs, represents a great danger for the State, because we are not building a country but a feudal kingdom. The renewal of the Gab

MR. ALI BONGO, SINCE 2009 HOW MANY NET JOBS HAVE BEEN CREATED IN GABON ? MONSIEUR ALI BONGO, DEPUIS 2009 COMBIEN D’EMPLOIS NETS ONT ÉTÉ CRÉÉS AU GABON ?

Image
English Version   Net job creation measures the difference between the number of jobs people hold between the end and the beginning of a given period. That is to say, Ali Bongo should give us verifiable figures on the number of Gabonese who were on the formal labor market in Gabon in 2009, and the number of Gabonese who are in such a position today. That is where we expect him. Instead, he continues to make silly promises.   It should be noted that job creation does not necessarily translate into a fall in the unemployment rate, as everything depends on the balance between entry into the labor market (especially young people who have completed their studies) and exits (especially people retiring). The unemployment rate will only fall if job creation is sufficient to absorb young people entering the labor force.   Let Ali Bongo give us his exhaustive assessment since 2009 with regard to employment!         Version française   La création nette d’emp

Image
English Version   The signs are there in front of us. Only the willfully blind still refuse to see them. The many palpable frustrations of the Gabonese are the result of their disenchantment with this regime that governs them and therefore with all that it embodies.   In the cottages, Gabonese make a mockery of Ali Bongo, a head of state not only illegitimate, but practically invisible since his stroke in 2018. He is no more than a parody of a Head of State in the minds of citizens.   The regime is trying to hide this derision, by the repressive apparatus and the deployment of an important propaganda system reminding the Gabonese that Ali Bongo exists. From there, calls for Ali Bongo’s candidacy to succeed himself, by people like Franck Nguema, increasingly resonate as an insult to the dignity of the Gabonese people. This servility in the face of deception no longer impresses anyone in Gabon and everyone knows the result of such attitudes after 55 years of this regi

WHY NO COUNTRY UNDER DICTATORSHIP OR MONARCHY CAN DEVELOP! POURQUOI AUCUN PAYS SOUS DICTATURE NI MONARCHIE, NE PEUT SE DÉVELOPPER !

Image
English Version   History shows that societies in which many people are given a chance to try many different things tend to be more successful than those in which only a few privileged people are hereditarily allowed to have opportunities while others are kept idle with no upward mobility.   Societies advance because their members come up with breakthrough innovations. These can be social innovations, political innovation, economical innovation, technological innovations etc. However, these innovations occur only when the people are allowed to freely try out their ideas.   Innovation occurs through a process that combines 3 elements: variation, selection, and iteration. No one ever designs innovation, but it occurs through a process of slow emergence of the combination of these 3 factors overtime. Innovation will emerge because of the recombination of multiple small variations of existing entities from which only the most practical would be selected; then the select
