The former director general of BFM Business Pierre Fraidenraich, who organized the Liberation Forum in Gabon in 2015, would also have allowed the Accrombessi television channel, Edan, to collaborate with Lagardère and Canal +.

When he was operational director of Libération, Pierre Fraidenraich played the middle man for the television channel Edan, created and led by Evelyne Diatta-Accrombessi, wife of Maixent Accrombessi, who at the time was Ali Bongo’s chief of staff.

A friend of Denis Olivennes, a former CEO of Lagardère, Pierre Fraidenraich introduced Edan in 2015 to this group. It was he who negotiated on behalf of Edan, the lease that allowed this channel to settle for two years on the top floor of the former headquarters of Europe 1, rue Francois-1er in Paris. Edan paid 5,000 euros in monthly rent. In return, Lagardère provided the channel with services and content worth 1 million euros per year. In December 2017, the agreement and the lease were revoked and Edan left the headquarters of Europe 1 hastily.

Pierre Fraidenraich also helped Edan find distributors. In 2015, he introduced the channel to Canal +. The Vivendi subsidiary, for which Gabon is a strategic market, has subsequently agreed to take on Edan in its African distribution. During the first three years, Edan was distributed exclusively on this network. For these services, Pierre Fraidenraich received about 500,000 euros per year, which was lowered to 250,000 euros since the release of the exclusivity in 2018.

The Fraidenraich family company, Dinojo, held a 5% stake in Edan. Legally, the channel Edan belongs to a British company, located until 2017 in the London offices of Mossack Fonseca, the controversial firm which was at the center of the Panama Papers scandal.

According to investigators, Pierre Fraidenraich, with the Liberation Forum in Libreville, would have received around 50,000 euros from Nadine Diatta, the sister of Evelyne Diatta-Accrombessi. Nadine Diatta played an important role in the organization of the forum. She would have received a 500,000 euros retro-commission from PMP, the company that owns Libération.

Quand il était directeur opérationnel de Libération, Pierre Fraidenraich joua les bons offices pour la chaîne de télévision Edan, créée et dirigée par Evelyne Diatta-Accrombessi, épouse de Maixent Accrombessi, qui à l'époque était le directeur d’Ali Bongo.

Ami de Denis Olivennes, un ex-président du directoire de Lagardère, Pierre Fraidenraich a introduit en 2015 Edan auprès de ce groupe. C’est lui qui négocia pour le compte d’Edan, le bail qui a permis à cette chaine de s'installer pendant deux ans au dernier étage de l'ancien siège d'Europe 1, rue François-1er à Paris. Edan y payait 5000 euros de loyer mensuel. En retour, Lagardère a fourni à la chaîne des prestations et des contenus pour une valeur d'1 million d’euro par an. En décembre 2017, l'accord et le bail furent rompus et Edan quitta le siège d'Europe 1 précipitamment.

Pierre Fraidenraich a aussi aidé Edan à trouver des distributeurs. En 2015, il a introduit la chaîne à Canal +. La filiale de Vivendi, pour qui le Gabon est un marché stratégique, a par la suite accepté de reprendre Edan dans son bouquet africain. Durant les trois premières années, Edan était distribuée en exclusivité sur ce bouquet. Pour ces services, Pierre Fraidenraich recevait environ 500000 euros par an, montant qui fut abaissé à 250000 euros depuis la sortie de l'exclusivité en 2018.

La société familiale des Fraidenraich, Dinojo, détenait 5% du capital d'Edan. Juridiquement, la chaîne Edan appartiendrait à une société britannique, domiciliée jusqu'en 2017 dans les bureaux londoniens de Mossack Fonseca, le cabinet controversé qui fut au centre de l’affaire des Panama Papers.

Selon les enquêteurs Pierre Fraidenraich avec le forum de Libération à Libreville, aurait reçu autour de 50000 euros de la part de Nadine Diatta, la soeur d'Evelyne Diatta-Accrombessi. Nadine Diatta joua un rôle important dans l'organisation du forum. Elle aurait reçu une rétro-commission de 500000 euros de la part de PMP, la société propriétaire de Libération.
