Dear readers, this blog has analyzed how the Bongo family destroyed Gabon. There are 10 distinguishable phenomena that the Bongo institutionalized in the country that have brought it to the ground. These are:

1. Destruction of the engine of productivity that used to propel Gabonese families

In the 60s, most Gabonese families were self-sufficient by producing their own food, building their own homes (even modest ones), and leading productive and dignified lives.

Today, the Gabonese families has been destroyed. The Gabonese man no longer produces anything and spends his time either drowning his sorrows in the numerous bars proliferating in the country, or following politicians arounds looking for a hand out. The Gabonese man has lost his dignity and is now a beggar. Similarly, the Gabonese woman has lost her desire to work and care for her household, preferring to chase social and economic success in all the wrong places. The Gabonese woman has become a object of shame and disgrace because she would do the most humiliating things so she can survive, instead of just recapture the dignity of our mothers and great mothers.

How can a people who produce nothing, own nothing, operate no business of their own, survive in dignity? That’s impossible. The Gabonese citizen has been rendered useless in his own country. He has been stripped of any capability to be productive and independent.

L'homme gabonais a perdu sa dignité et est désormais mendiant. De même, la femme gabonaise a perdu son envie de travailler et de s'occuper de son ménage, préférant courir après le succès social et économique de très mauvaise manière. La femme gabonaise est devenue un objet de honte et de déshonneur, car elle ferait les plus humiliantes des choses, afin de survivre, au lieu de reconquérir la dignité qu’avait jadis nos mères et de nos grandes mères.

Comment un peuple qui ne produit rien, ne possède rien, ne gère aucune activité, peut-il survivre dans la dignité? C'est impossible. Le citoyen gabonais est devenu inutile dans son propre pays. Il a été privé de toute capacité d'être productif et indépendant.
