56 years ago, a group of young Gabonese officers and soldiers stood up to say NO to the political sycophancy that was settling at the top of the state. Unfortunately, this patriotic revolt was repressed in blood by France. The former French settlers thus opened the door to the looting of Gabon by foreigners, with the complicity of some Gabonese citizens.

56 years later, the dilapidated situation of our country leaves us no choice but to continue the fight. We owe it to our people and to our martyrs.

Il y a 56 ans, un groupe de jeunes officiers et soldats gabonais, s'est levé pour dire NON à la chienlit politique qui était en train de s'installer au sommet de l'État. Malheureusement, cette révolte patriotique fut réprimée dans le sang par la France. Les anciens colons français ouvraient ainsi la porte au pillage du Gabon par les étrangers, avec la complicité de certains Gabonais.

56 ans plus tard, la situation de délabrement de notre pays ne nous laisse pas d'autre choix que de continuer le combat. Nous le devons à notre peuple et à nos martyrs.
