English version  Here is the English translation: The first general population census of Gabon took place in 1960-1961. The operation combined an exhaustive census with a demographic sample survey, carried out with the assistance of INSEE. The final results, published in 1965, put the Gabonese population at approximately 448,000 inhabitants. This was the first of eight general censuses conducted to date in Gabon, followed by those of 1970, 1980, 1993, 2003, 2013, and 2023. Starting from 448,000 inhabitants in 1960 and the 2013 census (1,811,079 inhabitants), we obtain an average annual population growth rate of about 2.7% over 53 years. Applying this same rate through 2026 (66 years after 1960), we would get: 447,864 × (1.027)^66 ≈ 2.5 to 2.6 million inhabitants This estimate is consistent with the figures from international organizations (UN, World Bank), which put the Gabonese population at around 2.5–2.6 million inhabitants for 2025-2026. English version  Hannah Arendt (1906–1975) was a German-American philosopher and political theorist. Born in Germany, she fled the Nazi regime in the 1930s, first to France and then, in 1941, to the United States. This personal experience of totalitarianism profoundly shaped her work. English version  CBON had announced in mid 2025 the suspension of scholarships to the United States and Canada starting in 2026, citing high costs and brain drain, with a redirection toward African countries (Morocco, Senegal, Ghana) supposedly guaranteeing better oversight and graduates returning home.
