La Lettre du Continent tells us that all those close to Brice Laccruche-Alihanga who had been in charge of various functions, are not being prosecuted by the Bongo regime in the context of Operation Scorpion.

While the regime puts Sonia Minko, Brice Laccruche's partner, under arrest; they leave Colonel Alain Djibril Ibaba who has been the boss of the General Directorate of Documentation and Immigration (DGDI) for eight months, which is the police intelligence service; in freedon. This Colonel, however, mentioned in the Scorpion operation because of his proximity to one Mehdi Kaack who operates in the automotive sector, has not been worried. The reason given by La Lettre du Continent for this freedom is that he is the son of retired General Alioune Ibaba, a former military adviser to Ali Bongo.

Another survivor is Edgard Anicet Mboumbou Miyakou, who was the Justice and Interior Minister of Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, and who is now the government spokesperson; certainly, thanks to his father Antoine Mboumbou Miyakou, a loyal servant to Omar Bongo and currently political advisor to Ali Bongo.

Lacking family relationships, another person close to Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, Franck Yann Koubdjé, would have opted to pledge allegiance to Noureddin Bongo. As the boss of the Gabonese Treasury, it would be him who would have provided Noureddin Bongo with all the accounting elements about Brice Laccruche-Alihanga’s management.

La Lettre du Continent nous dit que tous les proches de Brice Laccruche-Alihanga qui ont été aux affaires, ne sont pas poursuivit par le régime Bongo dans le cadre de l’opération scorpion.

Quand le régime met Sonia Minko, la compagne de Brice Laccruche, aux arrêts ; il laisse libre le colonel Alain Djibril Ibaba qui est depuis huit mois le patron de la Direction générale de la documentation et de l'immigration (DGDI) qui est le service de renseignement de la police. Ce Colonel pourtant cité dans le dossier Scorpion à cause de sa proximité avec un certain Mehdi Kaack qui opère dans le secteur de l’automobile, n'a pas été inquiété. La raison donnée par la Lettre du Continent pour cette non inquiétude, est qu’il soit le fils du général à la retraite Alioune Ibaba, ancien conseiller militaire d’Ali Bongo.

Un autre rescapé est Edgard Anicet Mboumbou Miyakou, qui fut le ministre de la justice et de l'intérieur de Brice Laccruche-Alihanga, et qui est désormais le porte-parole du gouvernement ; certainement grâce aux bons offices de son père Antoine Mboumbou Miyakou, fidèle d'Omar Bongo et actuellement conseiller politique d'Ali Bongo.

Ne disposant pas de relais familiaux, le proche de Brice Laccruche-Alihanga qu’est Franck Yann Koubdjé, aurait opté de faire allégeance à Noureddin Bongo. Patron du Trésor Public, ce serait ce dernier qui aurait fourni à Noureddin Bongo tous les éléments comptables sur la gestion de Brice Laccruche-Alihanga.
