To continue his convalescence, the President, in consultation with his close family, made the choice to accept the offer of welcome from his brother, His Majesty the King of Morocco Mohammed VI. We are extremely grateful to him. My husband will arrive tomorrow in Rabat, the capital.

This transfer from Saudi Arabia to Morocco was made possible thanks to the very significant improvement in the health of the President who thanks you for your many wishes of support and affection.

His Excellency the President of the Republic, Head of State of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, my husband, intends to take advantage of this brief period of recovery to regain his full physical abilities, as well as to work on the most priority issues for our country, Gabon.

« Demain, mercredi 28 novembre, SEM le président de la République, le Chef de l’Etat gabonais, Ali Bongo Ondimba, mon époux, quittera l’hôpital du Roi Fayçal de Riyad en Arabie Saoudite. Nous tenions, avant toute chose, à exprimer notre profonde gratitude à l’endroit des autorités saoudiennes et du corps médical.

Pour poursuivre sa convalescence, le Président, en concertation avec sa famille proche, a fait le choix d’accepter la proposition d’accueil de son frère, Sa Majesté le Roi du Maroc Mohammed VI. Nous lui en sommes extrêmement reconnaissants. Mon époux arrivera donc demain à Rabat, la capitale.

Ce transfert d’Arabie Saoudite vers le Maroc a été rendu possible grâce à l’amélioration très significative de l’état de santé du Président qui vous remercie pour vos très nombreux témoignages de soutien et d’affection.

SEM le président de la République, le Chef de l’Etat Gabonais, Ali Bongo Ondimba, mon époux, compte mettre à profit cette brève période de convalescence pour recouvrer ses pleines capacités physiques, ainsi que pour travailler sur les dossiers les plus prioritaires pour notre pays, le Gabon.

A cette fin, il a demandé aux principaux responsables au sein de la Présidence de la République de le rejoindre à Rabat.»
