According to Africa Intelligence, not getting along for several years now, the two national predators, Sylvia and Pascaline Bongo, have made peace. This reconciliation of convenience is certainly the result of Ali Bongo being sidelined.

 

The most immediate sign of this reconciliation would be the removal of Ali and Sylvia Bongo's lawyer from the succession case regarding the distribution of the wealth of the late Omar Bongo, the Frenchwoman Claude Dumont-Beghi. In this case, Ali and Sylvia Bongo are opposed to Pascaline Bongo. Pascaline Bongo’s return into favor at the presidential palace inevitably led to the calming down on both sides.

 

Remember that Pascaline Bongo had been stripped of her title of "High Representative" of Ali Bongo. Then, following Ali Bongo's stroke, Pascaline Bongo is said to have put her networks at the service of Brice Laccruche. But after the sidelining of the latter and the rise in power of Noureddin Bongo, whom Sylvia Bongo would like to see succeed Ali Bongo, the need to rally forces was felt and Sylvia Bongo would have asked Betty Bongo to organize a reconciliation between the two ogresses.

 

This reunion would allow Sylvia Bongo to follow more closely the management of the family assets and also of Delta Synergy, two entities under the control of Pascaline Bongo. Note that Ali and Pascaline Bongo each own 20% of Delta Synergy (total 40% for both). The Gabonese Insurance and Reinsurance company (OGAR), which was managed by Edouard Valentin, the late father of Sylvia Bongo, is one of the main companies of Delta Synergie.

 

This reconciliation could also allow Sylvia Bongo to use Pascaline Bongo as a bridge between herself and all the marginalized members of the Bongo family, among whom is found Omar Denis Jr Bongo, son of Omar Bongo and Edith-Lucie Bongo, who is suspected of having presidential ambitions for 2023.

D’après Africa Intelligence, en froid depuis plusieurs années déjà, les deux prédatrices nationales que sont Sylvia et Pascaline Bongo, auraient fumé le calumet de la paix. Cette réconciliation de convenance est certainement consécutive à la mise hors-jeu d’Ali Bongo.

 

Le signe le plus immédiat de cette réconciliation serait l’éloignement de l’avocate d’Ali et Sylvia Bongo dans le dossier de succession concernant la distribution de l’héritage de feu Omar Bongo, la Française Claude Dumont-Beghi. Dans ce dossier, Ali et Sylvia Bongo sont opposés à Pascaline Bongo. Le retour en grâce de Pascaline Bongo au palais présidentiel a inévitablement entraîné la mise d’eau dans le vin des deux parties.

 

Souvenez-vous que Pascaline Bongo avait été déchue de son titre de "haute représentante" d’Ali Bongo. Puis, suite à l’AVC d’Ali Bongo, Pascaline Bongo aurait mis ses réseaux au service de Brice Laccruche. Mais après la mise à l'écart de ce dernier et la montée en puissance de Noureddin Bongo que Sylvia Bongo voudrait voir succéder à Ali Bongo, le besoin de rassembler les forces s’est fait ressentir et Sylvia Bongo aurait demandé à Betty Bongo d’organiser une réconciliation entre les deux ogresses.

 

Ces retrouvailles permettraient à Sylvia Bongo de suivre de plus près la gestion du patrimoine familial et aussi de Delta Synergie, deux entités sous le contrôle de Pascaline Bongo. A noter qu’Ali et Pascaline Bongo sont propriétaires chacun de 20% de Delta Synergie (total 40% pour les deux). L'Omnium gabonais d'assurances et de réassurances (OGAR), qui fut dirigé par Edouard Valentin, le défunt père de Sylvia Bongo, est une des principales sociétés de Delta Synergie.

 

Cette réconciliation pourrait aussi permettre à Sylvia Bongo de se servir Pascaline Bongo comme passerelle entre elle et tous les marginalisés de la famille Bongo, au sein desquels on retrouve Omar Denis Jr Bongo, fils d'Omar Bongo et d'Edith-Lucie Bongo, qui est soupçonné d'avoir des ambitions présidentielles pour 2023.
