The litigation between the Bongo regime and the heirs of Italian businessman Guido Santullo, is at this moment in front of the European jurisdictions.

La Lettre du Continent, tells us that the Bongo regime is at this point in the process of relaxing the judicial pressure on the principal Gabonese defendants in this case, who find themselves in local prisons.

In fact, the Gabonese justice system has just freed the former director of infrastructure Gilles Rodrigue Bongo and the trial of the former minister of Public Works Magloire Ngambia, incarcerated since 2017, has just been postponed. He was accused of favoring the contracts between Gabon and the construction boss Guido Santullo, who passed in 2018.

These two decisions in Gabon with respect to Gilles Rodrigue Bongo and Magloire Ngambia are in total contradiction with the judicial actions that Gabon has taken in France and in Switzerland, against Santullo’s heirs, who are accused of corrupting Gabonese civil servants.

Some members of Ali Bongo’s entourage, such as Hervé Patrick Opiangah, are pleading for a pure and simple dropping of the case.

La Lettre du Continent tells us that Gabon obtained, on March 6 in Switzerland, access to Guido Santullo’s bank accounts. These accounts allow to determine all the Gabonese beneficiaries of the Construction’s boss bribes. You understand better then, why this case must be closed.

Le litige entre le régime Bongo et les héritiers de l’homme d’affaire Italien Guido Santullo, est en ce moment devant les juridictions européennes.

La Lettre du Continent nous apprend que le régime Bongo soit en ce moment en train de relaxer sa pression judiciaire sur les principaux inculpés gabonais dans ce dossier, qui se retrouvent dans geôles locales.

En effet, la justice gabonaise vient de libérer l'ancien directeur des infrastructures Gilles Rodrigue Bongo et le procès de l'ancien ministre des travaux publics Magloire Ngambia, incarcéré depuis 2017, vient d’être reporté. Il est accusé d'avoir favorisé les contrats passés le Gabon et le patron de BTP Guido Santullo, décédé en 2018.

Ces deux décisions au Gabon envers Gilles Rodrigue Bongo et Magloire Ngambia seraient en totale contradiction avec les actions judiciaires que mène le Gabon en France et en Suisse contre les héritiers de Santullo, qui sont accusés de corruption de fonctionnaires Gabonais.

Certains membres de l'entourage d’Ali Bongo, comme Hervé Patrick Opiangah, plaideraient pour un pur et simple abandon des poursuites.

La lettre du Continent nous dit que le Gabon a obtenu, le 6 mars en Suisse, l'accès aux comptes de Guido Santullo. Ces comptes permettent de connaitre tous les bénéficiaires Gabonais des largesses de ce patron de BTP. On comprend mieux pourquoi l’affaire devrait être classée.
