Apparently, according to La Lettre du Continent, it is following the investigation by the French National Financial Office of the forum organized by the newspaper Libération in Libreville in 2015, that the Ali Bongo’s regime would have decided to get rid of Maixent Accrombessi who had become too embarrassing.

Given that in France, this scandal had already led to the resignation of the organizer of this forum, Pierre Fraidenraich, a former operational director of Libération who meanwhile became managing director of the BFM Business channel; this resignation was very disconcerting for the Ali Bongo’s regime, because Pierre Fraidenraich is a close friend of Maixent Accrombessi.

The same Pierre Fraidenraich holds shares in Edan, the television channel of Accrombessi's wife, Evelyne Diatta.

La Lettre du Continent tells us that Pierre Fraidenraich and Maixent Accrombessi had been working on the organization of this forum, which was financed by the Gabonese State, via a structure called the Coordinating Office of the Strategic Plan Gabon Emergent (BCPSGE), which was directly under Maixent Accrombessi at the Gabonese presidency.

This is why Ali Bongo's regime had to try to save face before this scandal.

Accrombessi meanwhile, has quietly returned home to Benin, with all the money looted in Gabon.

Apparemment, d’après La Lettre du Continent, c’est suite à l'enquête du Parquet national financier français sur le forum organisé par le quotidien Libération à Libreville en 2015, que le régime Ali Bongo aurait décidé de se debarasser de Maixent Accrombessi devenu trop gênant.

Vu qu’en France, ce scandale avait déjà entraîné la démission de l'organisateur de ce forum, Pierre Fraidenraich, ancien directeur opérationnel de Libération entre temps devenu directeur général de la chaîne BFM Business ; cette démission était très embarrassante pour le régime Ali Bongo, car Pierre Fraidenraich est un intime de Maixent Accrombessi.

Le même Pierre Fraidenraich détient des parts dans Edan, la chaîne de télévision de l’épouse d'Accrombessi, Evelyne Diatta.

La Lettre du Continent nous apprend que Pierre Fraidenraich et Maixent Accrombessi ont travaillé en tendem sur l'organisation de ce forum qui fut financé par l’Etat Gabonais, via une structure appelee le Bureau de coordination du plan stratégique Gabon émergent (BCPSGE), qui dépendait directement de Maixent Accrombessi à la présidence gabonaise.

Voici pourquoi il fallait que régime Ali Bongo essaie de sauver la face devant ce scandale.

Accrombessi quant à lui, est tranquillement retourné chez lui au Benin, avec tout l’argent pillé au Gabon.
