The press tells us that a former French soldier named Juan Rémy Quignolot, who until recently was detained in Bangui, has just been evacuated from Bangui to Paris, via Libreville; and that it was the Gabonese intelligence services that obtained this evacuation.

 

Juan Rémy Quignolot was arrested in May 2021 for espionage by the Central African courts. His health deteriorated, and this is the explanation that was given to justify his evacuation to Libreville on May 18, 2023. He was picked up by the services of the France embassy in Libreville, who put him on a flight to Paris on the evening of May 20, 2023.

 

According to the same press, this evacuation was negotiated and facilitated by Ali Bongo. This issue would have been entrusted to General Bernard Gnamankala, who heads the Directorate General of Documentation and Immigration (DGDI); who had for contact on the Central African side, an adviser of Touadera of Gabonese origin, named Prince Borel Yaounga Yiko.

 

The two parties reportedly met on March 2 in Libreville during the One Forest Summit, in the presence of Franck Paris, who is Emmanuel Macron's Africa advisor, and the number two of the Rwandan National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS), Colonel Jean-Paul Nyirubutama.

La presse nous apprend qu’un ex-militaire Français du nom de Juan Rémy Quignolot, qui jusqu’ici était detenu à Bangui, vient d’être évacué de Bangui vers Paris, via Libreville ; et que ce sont les services de renseignement gabonais qui ont obtenu cette évacuation.

 

Juan Rémy Quignolot avait été arrêté en mai 2021 pour espionnage par la justice centrafricaine. Son état de santé s'est dégradé, et c’est l’explication qui a été donnée pour justifier son évacuation vers Libreville le 18 mai 2023. Il a été recueilli par les services de l'ambassade de France à Libreville, qui l’on mis dans un vol pour Paris dans la soirée du 20 mai 2023.

 

D’après la même presse, cette évacuation aurait été négociée et facilitée par Ali Bongo. Ce dossier aurait été confié au général Bernard Gnamankala, qui dirige la Direction générale de la documentation et de l'immigration (DGDI) ; qui avait pour contact côté centrafricain, un conseiller de Touadera d'origine gabonaise, du nom de Prince Borel Yaounga Yiko.

 

Les deux parties se seraient rencontrées le 2 mars à Libreville en marge du One Forest Summit, en présence de Franck Paris, qui est conseiller Afrique d'Emmanuel Macron, et du numéro deux du National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) rwandais, le colonel Jean-Paul Nyirubutama.
