ALI BONGO REDECORATE COMILOG ALI BONGO REDÉCORE LA COMILOG

English version

According to La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo is going to profoundly change the direction of the Comilog, by placing his minions.

Ali Bongo has just named the former Minister of Mines and Industry, Martial-Rufin Moussavou, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Comilog which, let us not forget, is a subsidiary of the Eramet Group. He succeeds at this position to Alain Ditona Moussavou who seems to have fallen out of favor with Ali Bongo.

Yet, says La Lettre du Continent, Martial-Rufin Moussavou was not the initial candidate of Eramet who preferred Marcel Abéké. Ali Bongo is said to have refused, judging Marcel Abeke too close to the opposition.

In a letter sent on March 26 to Christel Bories, the President of Eramet, the Gabonese Minister of Mines, Christian Magnagna, explains the choice of the regime, and proposes other personalities to integrate the new Board of Directors of Comilog. There are: Roger Owono Mba, deputy director of the presidential cabinet and member of the Association of Young Emerging Volunteers (Ajev) led by Laccruche Alihanga; Ali Bongo's brother-in-law, Serge Thierry Mickoto, who heads the Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund; and Rigobert Ikambouayat Ndeka, who is President of the Equatorial Mining Company, and also a member of Ajev.
