La Lettre du Continent also tells us that Jean-Baptiste Tomi is representing the oil company Trafigura in Gabon. A jet fuel kerosene supplier in the country, Trafigura is the supplier of jet fuel in Gabon, and is currently active to take over its competitor Vitol, of the volumes of crude going to the Gabonese state. "Bati" Tomi also works with the Pan African Minerals company of Australian-Romanian entrepreneur Frank Timis, who is looking to gain a foothold in Gabon.

C’est ainsi que La Lettre du Continent nous dit que le fils d'Ali Bongo, Noureddin Bongo, aurait pris la gestion du domaine privé d’Ali et Sylvia Bongo (intendance de voyages, fonds personnels, agenda etc). Ce rôle était auparavant détenu par l'aide de camp principal d'Ali Bongo, Arsène Emvahou. Noureddin Bongo fait donc désormais partie du cabinet présidentiel.

Noureddin Bongo serait en négociation avec Maixent Accrombessi, pour l’obtention de certains dossiers sensibles. Accrombessi serait actuellement à Libreville.

Le mafioso Corse Jean-Baptiste Tomi, dit "Bati", fils du parrain Michel Tomi, fait aussi un retour dans le cercle des hommes de confiance du régime. La Compagnie aérienne de Jean-Baptiste Tomi, Afrijet, s’occuperait de plus en plus des vols de la présidence.

La Lettre du Continent nous dit aussi que Jean-Baptiste Tomi est également le relais du pétrolier Trafigura au Gabon. Fournisseur de kérosène jet A-1 au pays, Trafigura est le fournisseur de kérosène d’avion au Gabon, et s'activerait actuellement pour ravir à son concurrent Vitol, les volumes de brut qui reviennent à l'Etat Gabonais. "Bati" Tomi épaule également la société Pan African Minerals de l'entrepreneur australo-roumain Frank Timis, qui cherche à prendre pied au Gabon.
