A BEAUTIFUL AND ULTIMATE TRIBUTE TO EMMA IKABANGA. UN BEL ET ULTIME HOMMAGE À EMMA IKABANGA

Account of the last tribute related by www.mazleckinfo, of the friends of “infos Kinguélé" to the late Emma Ikabanga.

True spirit of solidarity, was the main contribution of this social network which is a showcase in terms of crucible of freedom of expression of Gabonese people on the web, displayed through the funeral of one of its founding members and emblematic figure, Emma Ikabanga, who passed away on 7 February 2014. On the eve of her burial, a delegation from "Infos Kinguélé" went to pay homage to the deceased, by providing a multifaceted support to the bereaved family.

A moral, material and financial support of a little more than one million CFA francs were made to the sorely bereaved family, by a delegation of about twenty members of this social network. A delegation which was led by figures well-known for their commitment to the vitality of the political struggle and the civil society which considers itself to be free, such as Marcel Djabio - spokesman in this circumstance-Jean Pierre Rougou, George Mpaga, Junior Tchissambo, to mention only a few.

The funds they brought have been directed towards two main objectives: supporting the organization of the funeral, and supporting the continued education of the young girl left behind by Emma - Astrid, 19 years old-at the end of secondary school. Infos Kinguélé delivered its last respects in the afternoon of Sunday, 16 February 2014, on the grounds of the funeral home, GABOSEP where the body has been exposed all day and all night, before heading to her hometown, Bakoumba, via the mining town of Moanda, in the province of Haut Ogooué, in the southeast of Gabon.

The Infos Kinguélé financial support was received by the representative of the family, Benjamin Issoutou, who committed to faithfully apply the objectives of these funds. ''I promise you that your initial goals will not be diverted from, better, I would undertake as a follow up, to give you a faithful account of its use'' assured to the delegation Infos Kinguélé, Benjamin Issoutou.

Founded in 2011 in order to provide a space of freedom, Infos Kinguélé is for the time being the most important virtual exchange space for local Gabonese as well as those of the diaspora. It currently has over 19,000 members worldwide, who exchange daily on topics of political, economic and social life; engaging Gabon and the rest of the world.

Véritable élan de solidarité, que la contribution de ce principal réseau social et vitrine en termes de creuset de liberté d’expression des gabonais sur la toile, dans le cadre des funérailles de l’un de ses membres fondateurs et figure emblématique, Emma Ikabanga, décédée le 7 février 2014. A la veille de son inhumation, une délégation «d’Infos Kinguelé» est allée s’incliner devant la dépouille, en apportant son soutien multiforme à la famille endeuillée.

Soutien moral, matériel et financier d’un peu plus d’un millions de francs CFA ont été apportés auprès de la famille cruellement éprouvée, par une délégation de près d’une vingtaine de membres de ce réseau social. Une délégation qui était conduite par de visages bien connus pour leur engagement dans la vitalité du combat politique et la société civile se réclamant libre, à l’instar de Marcel Djabio – porte-parole de circonstance-, Jean Pierre Rougou, George Mpaga, Junior Tchissambo, pour ne citer que ceux-là.

Les fonds apportés ont été orientés vers deux principaux objectifs, le soutien à l’organisation des funérailles, et le soutien à la poursuite de la scolarisation de la jeune fille laissée par Emma – Astrid, 19 ans-, en fin de cycle secondaire. Infos Kinguelé a rendu son dernier hommage, dans l’après-midi du dimanche 16 février 2014, dans l’enceinte de la maison funèbre, GABOSEP, où le corps a été exposé toute la journée et toute la nuit, avant que le cap ne soit mis sur son village natal, Bakoumba, via la ville minière de Moanda, dans la province du Haut Ogooué, au sud-est du Gabon.

Le soutien financier d’Infos Kinguelé a été réceptionné par le représentant de la famille, Benjamin Issoutou, qui s’est engagé à consommer avec fidélité d’objectif, lesdits fonds. ‘’ Je vous promets que vos objectifs initiaux ne seront pas déviés, mieux, je me chargerais dans la suite de vous faire un compte rendu fidèle, de son utilisation’’ assurait à la délégation d’Infos Kinguelé, Benjamin Issoutou.

Fondé en 2011 en vue de s’offrir un espace de liberté, Infos Kinguélé, est pour l’heure, le plus important des cadres d’échanges virtuels des gabonais locaux et de ceux la diaspora. Il compte à ce jour plus de 19 000 membres à travers le monde, qui échangent quotidiennement sur divers sujets de la vie politique, économique et social; engageant le Gabon et le reste du monde.
