This week, once again, we have proof that dictators do not end well. They can spend a long time in power, but they never learn about leaving power gracefully; no they want to die in power and thus, they force the people to eventually take action against them.

One way or the other, the Gabonese people will have to step in to end the scourge of the Bongos in Gabon. The depredation of the Gabonese people is acute, as the results of the corrupt and cruel Bongo’s regime is in full display.

Things are so bad that Ali Bongo no longer knows what to do with the Gabonese people. He has few options:

1. First option has been to starve and impoverish us, so they we would be too broken and would have to be grateful to him for crumbs; so we would never dare to rise against him.

2. The second is to ply us with corruption, so much that many of us would become content to trade freedom for comfort, and accept the plundering of the country for as long as they get their cut.

Either option will not succeed because the people are fed up with this regime. Ali Bongo has lasted 8 years, yes, but he will not end well.

Cette semaine encore, nous avons la preuve que les dictateurs ne finissent jamais bien. Ils peuvent passer beaucoup de temps au pouvoir, mais ils n'apprennent jamais qu’il faille quitter le pouvoir avec élégance; Non, ils veulent mourir au pouvoir et ainsi, ils forcent le peuple à agir contre eux.

D'une manière ou d'une autre, le peuple gabonais devra intervenir pour mettre fin au fléau que sont les Bongo au Gabon. La déprédation du peuple gabonais est aiguë, car les résultats du régime corrompu et cruel des Bongo, sont grandement visibles.

La situation est si mauvaise qu'Ali Bongo ne sait plus comment contrôler le peuple Gabonais. Il a peu d'options:

1. La première option a été de nous affamer et de nous appauvrir, alors nous serions trop affaiblis et devrions lui être reconnaissants pour les miettes qu’il nous jetterait; nous n'oserions donc jamais nous dresser contre lui.

2. La seconde est de nous corrompre, au point que beaucoup d'entre nous se contenteraient d'échanger la liberté contre le confort, et accepteraient le pillage du pays aussi longtemps qu'ils recevraient leur part.

Les deux options ne réussiront pas, parce que les gens ont marre de ce régime. Ali Bongo a duré 8 ans, oui, mais il ne finira pas bien.
