The writings and testimonies on the sinking of the steamer called "Titanic” emphasize that the orchestra of this ship, composed of eight musicians, continued to play, on the night of April 14-15, 1912, as the boat had been disemboweled by an iceberg and was sinking gradually. When one reads the summary published on Gabonreview, of the press release of Démocratie Nouvelle, via Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome, the spokesman of this party; about the final report of the European Union Observers Mission, this blog concludes that some in the orchestra directed by Ali Bongo, have been ordered to continue playing music at all cost, even if the inevitable is obvious.

While the EOM-EU report considerably weakens the position of Ali Bongo as President of Gabon, Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome and his party are asking people to minimize this report, worse to ignore it; and to go and gargle at ALI Bongo’s dialogue whose purpose would be a hypothetical exit from the crisis thanks to some equally hypothetical reforms that would give us free and transparent elections the next time. But they really take us for fools.

The posture of the Ali Bongo regime is that of the Titanic who has struck an electoral iceberg and is taking water. But Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome and company are these musicians who continue to play, to make us believe that we are still in a normal situation, that everything is under control. But caution, history tells us that all eight musicians of the Titanic died in the sinking and only the bodies of three of them were recovered and identified.

The Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome and company would do well to read history, for there is a strong adage saying: "those who do not know history are condemned to relive it." In Gabon, there are some who have chosen to sink with the Titanic, because there is a constant flow of events and evidences in the country today, a proliferation of facts that continues to swell, warning us formally of the collapse of the Bongo system in all its forms. The political situation is catastrophic; the economic situation is appalling; the social situation is terrible; the school situation is horrible and the situation of our living together is fragilized. Our country is in an unprecedented crisis.

The Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome and company are as arrogant as they are irresponsible in asking us to dance with them on the deck of the Titanic, while the holds take water. No, we reject this invitation and are determined to put an end to Ali Bongo.

Les écrits et témoignages sur le naufrage du paquebot appelé «Titanic », soulignent que l’orchestre de ce navire, composé de huit musiciens, continua de jouer, dans la nuit du 14 au 15 avril 1912, alors que l’embarcation avait été éventrée par un iceberg et coulait petit à petit. Il fallait donner l’impression aux passagers que tout était normal ; alors l’orchestre se devait de continuer à jouer. C’était les ordres !

Quand on lit le résumé publié sur Gabonreview, du communiqué de Démocratie Nouvelle, par la voix de Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome, porte-parole de ce parti ; au sujet du rapport final de la Mission d’Observation de l’Union européenne, ce blog conclu que certains dans l’orchestre que dirige Ali Bongo, ont reçu l’ordre de continuer coute que coute, à jouer de la musique, même si l’inévitable est évident.

Alors que le rapport de la MOE-UE vient fragiliser considérablement la posture d’Ali Bongo comme Président du Gabon, Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome et son parti viennent demander aux gens de minimiser ce rapport, pire de l’ignorer ; et d’aller se gargariser au dialogue d’Ali Bongo dont la finalité serait une hypothétique sortie de crise grâce à de toutes aussi hypothétiques réformes qui nous donneraient des élections libres et transparentes la prochaine fois. Mais ils nous prennent vraiment pour des abrutis.

La posture du régime Ali Bongo est celle du Titanic qui a heurté un iceberg électoral et qui prend de l’eau. Mais les Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome et compagnie sont ces musiciens qui continuent de jouer, histoire de nous faire croire que nous sommes encore en situation normale, que tout est sous contrôle. Mais attention, l’histoire nous dit que tous les huit musiciens du Titanic sont morts dans le naufrage et seuls les corps de trois d’entre furent repêchés et identifiés.

Les Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome et compagnie feraient bien de lire l’histoire, car il y a un solide adage qui dit : « celui qui ne connaît pas l'histoire est condamné à la revivre ». Au Gabon, il y en a qui ont choisi de couler avec le Titanic, car il existe aujourd’hui dans le pays, un flot constant d’évènements et d’évidences, une prolifération de faits qui ne cesse d’enfler, nous indiquant formellement l’effondrement du système Bongo sous toutes ses formes. La situation politique est catastrophique ; la situation économique est épouvantable ; la situation sociale est effroyable ; la situation scolaire est horrible et la situation du vivre ensemble est fragilisée. Notre pays se trouve dans une crise sans précédent.

Les Jonathan Ndoutoume-Ngome et compagnie sont aussi arrogants qu’irresponsables en nous demandant de danser avec eux sur le pont du Titanic, alors que les cales prennent de l’eau. Non, nous rejetons cette invitation et sommes déterminés à en finir avec Ali Bongo.

On ne lâche rien !
