English Version In 2008, Pascaline Bongo offered herself the Télésud channel in France, a year before the creation of Africa-24, with the ambition of making it the flagship of African audiovisual; a kind of Africa Number 1 television version. This chain has never really convinced anyone and after a decade of up and down activities, it closed down in 2019, after being found by the Commercial Court of Paris as being in default of payment.
