La Lettre du Continent, in its latest issue, describes Ali Bongo as being confronted with an unprecedented isolation that weakens him significantly. The many movements of defection and dissent within the regime and the PDG are the evidence of this isolation.

La Lettre du Continent thinks that the recent resignation from the PDG of Leon-Paul Ngoulakia could be particularly destabilizing. The latter, first cousin of Ali Bongo, could help create greater dissent among elites from Haut-Ogooué. La Lettre du Continent also informs us that this resignation has particularly compromised the recent tour of Ali Bongo in that region, which was organized by Mathias Otounga Ossibadjouo and Jean-Pierre Oyiba. That tour was designed to revive Ali Bongo in that province where more and more people are saying openly that they feel left aside. But alas for Ali Bongo, Ngoulakia’s resignation came and turned everything upside down.

La Lettre du Continent believes that there is an additive effect between the resignation of Leon-Paul Ngoulakia and the increasingly palpable preeminence of "refractory" currents within the PDG. So Ali Bongo is having great difficulties to rally his own camp to his cause, the rebellion of Heritage and Modernite still gaining ground. According to La Lettre du Continent, the goal of Alexandre Barro-Chambrier and allies, would be to put Ali Bongo in the minority during the next congress of the party and so designate someone else as candidate for the 2016 presidential election. Several names already circulate, including Guy Nzouba Ndama, who has also become one of the preferred targets of Accrombessi’s press: La Griffe, Le Douk-douk, La Doc, Le Scribouillard etc…

La Lettre du Continent also informs us that the image maker Marcel Ceccaldi had offered his services to Jean Ping, but that this service offering was refused, because of the closeness of Mr. Ceccaldi with Marine Le Pen.

It is also said that the French construction group Eiffage has not yet begun working on the repair of the Gabonese house of Parliament. Apparently, the Gabonese Public Treasury did in September release 6 billion FCFA for this work. However, this operation is still waiting for a bank guarantee. The work must be done before the month of March 2016, as will be held in this building, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie.

Finally, La Lettre du Continent wrote that after meeting Ali Bongo in Libreville recently, the Italian Guido Santullo has agreed to resume several projects he had stopped in Libreville. Les nombreux mouvements de défection et de dissidence au sein même du PDG et du régime sont les évidences de cet isolement.

La Lettre du Continent pense que la démission récente du PDG, de Léon-Paul Ngoulakia pourrait s’avérer particulièrement déstabilisatrice. Ce dernier, cousin germain d’Ali Bongo, serait susceptible de créer une plus grande dissidence parmi les cadres du Haut-Ogooué. La Lettre du Continent nous informe par ailleurs que cette démission a particulièrement rendu tiède, la tournée récente d’Ali Bongo dans cette région, qui fut organisée par Mathias Otounga Ossibadjouo et Jean-Pierre Oyiba. Cette tournée avait pour but de relancer Ali Bongo dans cette province où de plus en plus de gens se disent ouvertement lésés. Mais hélas pour Ali Bongo, la démission de Ngoulakia est venue tout chambouler.

La Lettre du Continent estime qu’il y ait un effet additif entre la démission de Léon-Paul Ngoulakia et la prééminence de plus en plus palpable des courants « réfractaires » au sein du PDG. Ali Bongo peinerait donc à rallier son propre camp à sa cause, la fronde d'Héritage et Modernité gagnant toujours du terrain. D’après La Lettre du Continent, l’objectif d’Alexandre Barro-Chambrier et alliés, serait de mettre Ali Bongo en minorité lors du prochain congrès de ce parti et ainsi désigner quelqu’un d’autre comme candidat à la présidentielle de 2016. Plusieurs noms circuleraient déjà, parmi lesquels Guy Nzouba Ndama, qui est d’ailleurs devenu l’une des cibles privilégiées de la presse d’Accrombessi: La Griffe, Le Douk-douk, La Doc, Le Scribouillard etc…

La Lettre du Continent nous informe aussi que le faiseur d’images Marcel Ceccaldi aurait proposé ses services à Jean Ping, mais que cette offre de services ait été refusée, à cause de la proximité de M. Ceccaldi avec Marine Le Pen.

Il est aussi dit que le groupe de BTP français Eiffage n’ait pas toujours pas entamé les travaux de réfection du bâtiment abritant le Parlement gabonais. Apparemment, le Trésor public gabonais aurait en septembre, débloqué 6 milliards F CFA pour ce chantier. Toutefois, cette opération resterait en attente d’une garantie bancaire. Les travaux doivent être effectués avant le mois de Mars 2016, car se tiendra dans cet édifice, l’Assemblée parlementaire de la francophonie.

Pour finir, La Lettre du Continent écrit qu’après avoir rencontré Ali Bongo récemment à Libreville, l’Italien Guido Santullo aurait accepté de reprendre plusieurs chantiers qu'il avait arrêtés à Libreville. Mais cette décision n'exclut pas de nouveaux rebondissements, d’après le périodique français, car cet accord aurait été obtenu de Guido Santullo sous la pression.
