A DETERMINED DIASPORA, FACING A BUNKERIZED DICTATOR. UNE DIASPORA QUI EN VEUT, FACE À UN DICTATEUR BUNKERISÉ

The contrast is striking as illustrated by the two photos above: the Gabonese diaspora remaining resolutely mobilized, conceding absolutely nothing and having just made a show of force by welcoming the duly elected candidate in Gabon, Jean Ping, to Paris, with a rare enthusiasm and total commitment; and the image of a distraught and bunkerized Ali Bongo surrounded by courtesans telling him that all is well because they have methodically militarized the country and imposed a reign of terror upon the Gabonese people.

The truth is that the Gabonese of the diaspora, taking over from those inside the country who have given so much in terms of sacrifices, are speeding up the downfall of the Ali Bongo’s regime. Indeed, dear readers, what remains of this regime, if not only violence, hypocrisies and cruelties?

The Gabonese people know that with the Bongos in power, the culture of the State will never flourish in Gabon, as they have once again witnessed with the caricature rigging of the last presidential election. By culture of State, one means the operation of a country through a gear made of trade unions, civil society, associations, professional corporations etc., that optimally punctuate the long nation-building process; because it is proven that the degree of intervention of this gear in the functioning of the State, determines the level of development of any country and, by extension, the strength of institutions that underpin it. In Gabon, the dictatorship does not allow this outbreak, preferring to ensnare us in an unhealthy cult of personality and activism made of juntas, of caudillos, of pronunciamientos, of tribalism and clannish.

The Gabonese diaspora knows that the calls for dialogue by this bunkerized criminal that is Ali Bongo, will never unfortunately deliver common sense and insight leading our country towards more equality and balance; but only a pretext to share of emoluments with the goal being the legitimization of the forfeiture. That's why, resistance remains the only objective until the final victory.

The Gabonese diaspora has again shown that 2016 will not be 2009.

Le contraste est saisissant comme l’illustrent les deux photographies ci-dessus : la diaspora Gabonaise reste résolument mobilisée, ne lâche absolument rien et vient de faire une démonstration de force en accueillant le candidat régulièrement élu au Gabon, Jean Ping, à Paris, avec un rare enthousiasme et une totale adhésion; et l’image d’un Ali Bongo désemparé et bunkerisé autour de courtisans lui disant que tout va bien car ils ont parcimonieusement militarisé tout le pays et imposé un règne de terreur aux populations Gabonaises.

La vérité est que les Gabonais de la diaspora, en prenant le relais de ceux de l’intérieur qui ont tant donné en termes de sacrifices, sont en train d’accélérer la déchéance du régime Ali Bongo. En effet, chers lecteurs, que reste-t-il à ce régime, si ce n’est que violences, hypocrisies et barbaries ?

Les Gabonais savent qu’avec les Bongo au pouvoir, la culture de l’Etat ne s’épanouira jamais au Gabon, comme ils viennent encore d’en avoir la preuve avec le truquage caricatural de la dernière présidentielle. Par culture d’Etat, on entend le fonctionnement d’un pays grâce à un engrenage fait de syndicats, de société civile, de tissu associatif, de corporations professionnelles etc., qui rythment de façon optimale leur long processus de construction de la nation ; car il est prouvé que le degré d'intervention de cet engrenage dans le fonctionnement de l’Etat, conditionne le niveau de développement de n'importe quel pays et, par ricochet, la solidité des institutions qui le sous-tendent. Au Gabon, la dictature ne permet pas cette éclosion, préférant nous engluer dans un culte maladif de la personnalité et du militantisme fait de juntes, de caudillos, de pronunciamientos, de tribalisme, et de clanisme.

La diaspora Gabonaise sait que les appels au dialogue par ce criminel bunkerisé qu’est Ali Bongo, ne seront jamais hélas accoucheuses de bon sens et de lucidité devant mener notre pays vers plus d’égalité et d’équilibre ; mais seulement un partage de prébendes avec à la clé la légitimation de la forfaiture. Voici pourquoi, la résistance reste le seul mot d’ordre jusqu'à victoire finale.

La diaspora Gabonaise vient encore de démontrer que 2016 ne sera pas 2009.
