BAR FIGHT, AMONG THE BONGOS! BAGARRE AU BAR, ENTRE LES BONGO!
English
version
It is Africa Intelligence (ex La Lettre du
Continent) that wrote it first, before being picked up by other media, there
would have been an altercation between extended members of the Bongo family, in
a restaurant in the 16th district in Paris. A very appetizing story as the
Gabonese like them, even those who have to go fetch water 5 km from home, and
yet while living in the capital of the richest country in Africa.
We will not want to indulge here in
reports of bars, or altercations of bars or bar fights, while the country is
collapsing.
What should we be talking about?
1.About the KM of road costing 10 billion
CFA francs
2.About the judicial system that is
blocked and where injustice abounds over justice
3.About the empty-handed return of Ali
Bongo and his environmental guru, the very businessman Lee White, from Cop 26.
4.About the arrest of a former Gabonese
football international for simply asking to meet his former colleagues on the
national football team.
5.About the situation in our hospitals
6.About the obituary page of The Union,
which is always busy
7.About the progress made by the National Union
showing a more democratic face
Etc.
What the hell are we doing worrying about
the fights between Bongos in a Parisian restaurant? Dear readers, you have better things to
do! Frankly, some Bongos will file a complaint
in Paris against other Bongos; so these people know what a well-functioning and
impartial judicial system is? Many Gabonese would like to have such a judicial
system in Gabon.
