In his interview on Gabon 24, former Prime Minister Raymond Ndong-Sima gives us useful information on Ali Bongo's way of functioning, which clearly explains why Gabon is in such a lamentable state.

 

From the 46th minute, Mr. Raymond Ndong-Sima, quoting Mr. Paul Mba-Abessole, said that in Gabon, the problem is that people do not know how to stay in their place. A partir de la 46ieme minute, Monsieur Raymond Ndong-Sima en citant Monsieur Paul Mba-Abessole, dit qu’au Gabon, le problème est que les gens ne savent pas se mettre à leur place. Il continue en disant que du temps où il fut Premier-Ministre, quand il allait faire des propositions au Président de la République, son ambition était de s’associer à une victoire et non à une défaite. Mais quand il apportait des propositions, il était combattu par des collaborateurs d’Ali Bongo qui ne connaissaient pas le début du commencement de ce qu’était le fonctionnement d’un modèle économique, le résultat a été une catastrophe pour le pays.

 

Nous avons pris des renseignements auprès de personnes bien introduites dans les arcanes du pouvoir et il nous a été expliqué que Monsieur Raymond Ndong-Sima faisait en fait référence à Maixent Accrombessi et le petit groupe de personnes qui lui était acquis au sommet du pouvoir ; dont le rôle était de bloquer toutes les initiatives qu’ils ne trouvaient pas à leur gout, même s’ils n’y comprenaient que dalle.
