To pass Gabon off as a democracy and allow Macron to come and endorse him in circumstances that would allow the latter to speak of Gabonese democracy, Ali Bongo had to launch an operation of democratic sprinkling on a fundamentally totalitarian regime.

Pour faire passer le Gabon pour une démocratie et permettre à Macron de venir l’adouber dans des circonstances qui permettraient à ce dernier de parler de démocratie Gabonaise, Ali Bongo se devait de lancer une opération de saupoudrage démocratique sur un régime foncièrement totalitaire.

 

Pour réaliser ce saupoudrage, Ali Bongo avait besoins de quelques ingrédients de l’opposition. Nous appellerons ces ingrédients d’opposition les assaisonnement politiques dont s’est servi Ali Bongo pour présenter à Macron une vitrine démocratique ouverte, alors que le pays lui dans la réalité reste hermétiquement et totalitairement fermé.
