English version Our compatriot Stéphane Zeng has given us an invaluable service, recording the testimony of a Gabonese who has experienced the political changes that Gabon has known from the late 50s to the present. This Gabonese individual is called Rocky Nkoghe. The collective memory of a population consists of everything that essentially involves issues of political and social evolution and cohesion. Collective memory encompasses a large number of fields of analysis, ranging from cognitive science to politics, sociology, history and other disciplines. It is the great merit of Stéphane Zeng and Rocky Nkoghe to work to remedy the promotion of ignorance and oblivion in Gabon. Let us hope that others will follow this brilliant example.
