Gabon’s Minister of National Education, Patrick Mouguiama-Daouda, would like to make access to university conditional on younger age of students at the time of obtaining the baccalaureate.

The question this blog would like to ask this minister is whether he would have allowed Cheick Anta Diop to go to university, he who graduated high school at 23 years old?

Would he have allowed Leopold Sédar-Senghor to enter university, he who had obtained the baccalaureate at 22?

The problems of Gabonese universities are numerous and are not due to the age of the students. Let this minister take care of the real problems!

Le ministre de l’Education nationale du Gabon, Patrick Mouguiama-Daouda, voudrait conditionner l’entrée a l’université aux étudiants de plus jeune âge au moment de l’obtention du baccalauréat.

La question que ce blog voudrait poser à ce ministre, est celle de savoir s’il aurait permis à Cheick Anta Diop d’accéder à l’université, lui qui a obtenu le bac l 23 ans ?

Aurait-il permis à Leopold Sédar-Senghor d’intégrer l’université, lui qui avait obtenu le bac à 22 ans ?

Les problèmes de l’université Gabonaise sont nombreux et ne sont pas dus à l’âge des étudiants. Que ce ministre s’occupe des vrais problèmes !
