According to information from Africa Intelligence, the Bongo family is in the process of completing work on their palace in the Moroccan city of Marrakech. The work would have taken 10 years!

This palace would be located in the palm grove of Marrakech, on land offered to Ali Bongo by the King of Morocco, Mohammed VI. This estate is called Dar Ain Zerafa.

The works were supervised by Maixent Accrombessi. Under his leadership, the Bongos acquired, in the early 2010s, additional land around the one offered by the Moroccan monarch, of land belonging to the French entrepreneur Michaël Benabou.

Who is Michaël Benabou

He is close to another French businessman, Pierre Fraidenraich, who himself is close to Maixent Accrombessi. Indeed, Fraidenraich and Accrombessi organized together in Libreville in 2015, the forum of the daily Liberation, a newspaper of which Fraidenraich was then Director of Operations, and was among its minority shareholders ... It is also mentioned that as a big art fan, this Michaël Benabou collects Fang masks from Gabon.

Maixent Accrombessi is also said to have supervised the structuring of the companies that own the estate. Thus, the Gabonese presidential residence would belong to the Management Company of the Dar Ain Zerafa domain, created by the Afri Consult firm of the French woman Anne Glavieux. She is a loyal service provider to the Bongo family: in 2019 she created the Moroccan branch of Shanah Investments belonging to Nourredin Bongo. Anne Glavieux also helped Christophe Valentin, brother of Sylvia Bongo, to create the African Investment and Cooperation Company I and II (SICA I and II), in 2014.

It is a medicalized home that the Gabonese presidential family should officially inaugurate in the coming months.

D’après les information d’Africa Intelligence, la famille Bongo serait en train d’achever les travaux de son palais dans la ville marocaine de Marrakech. Les travaux auraient duré 10 ans !

Ce palais serait situé dans la palmeraie de Marrakech, sur un terrain offert à Ali Bongo, par le roi du Maroc Mohammed VI. Ce domaine s’appelle Dar Ain Zerafa.

Les travaux ont été supervisés par Maixent Accrombessi. Sous sa direction, les Bongo ont fait l'acquisition, au début des années 2010, de terrains additionnels autour de celui offert par le monarque Marocain, appartement à l'entrepreneur français Michaël Benabou.

Qui est Michaël Benabou

C’est un proche d'un autre homme d'affaires français, Pierre Fraidenraich, qui lui-même est un intime de Maixent Accrombessi. En effet, Fraidenraich et Accrombessi ont organisé ensemble à Libreville en 2015, le forum du quotidien Libération, journal dont Fraidenraich était alors Directeur des Operations, et comptait parmi ses actionnaires minoritaires... Il est aussi mentionné que c’est grand amateur d'art, ce Michaël Benabou, puisqu’il collectionne les masques Fang du Gabon.

Maixent Accrombessi aurait également supervisé la structuration des sociétés qui détiennent le domaine. Ainsi, la résidence présidentielle gabonaise appartiendrait à la Société de gestion du domaine Dar Ain Zerafa, créée par le cabinet Afri Consult de la Française Anne Glavieux.
