It is not only the Gabonese resistance that is interested in the Pozzo di Borgo; La Lettre du Continent tells us that this property would also be the target of Ali Bongo's creditors.

The Kontinental group has indeed seized the capital of the SCI which manages the Pozzo di Borgo. But damn, it turns out that this property was already the targer of another creditor.

The explanations of La Lettre du Continent tell us that the Pozzo di Borgo is in fact the subject of several liens following financial disputes. The latest one comes from Frédéric Bérenger, the boss of the Kontinental group; which in December 2017 asked its lawyers to seize 6000 shares of the capital of the Real Estate Company managing the Pozzo di Borgo; company itself managed by Maixent Accrombessi.

The Kontinental group is said to have been successful suing the Gabonese State before the jurisdictions of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The 6000 shares in question represent 4.3 million euros, or 2.9 billion CFA francs. Kontinental had sued Gabon for failing to pay for a 5,000-home construction contract in the north of Libreville.

However, the capital of the same SCI had already been the subject of a first seizure in September 2015, by Guido Santullo. He is asking Gabon to pay a debt of nearly 130 billion CFA francs.

As you can see, Ali Bongo is in deep trouble.

Il n’y a pas que la résistance Gabonaise qui s’intéresse au Pozzo di Borgo ; La Lettre du Continent nous apprend que cet immeuble serait aussi la cible des créanciers d’Ali Bongo.

Le groupe Kontinental aurait en effet fait saisir le capital de la SCI qui gère le Pozzo di Borgo. Mais zut, il se trouve que cet immeuble était déjà entre les mains d'un autre créancier.

Les explications de La Lettre du Continent nous disent que le Pozzo di Borgo ferait en fait l'objet de plusieurs saisies suite à des litiges financiers. La dernière en date émanerait d’un certain Frédéric Bérenger, patron du groupe Kontinental ; qui en décembre 2017 a demandé à ses avocats de se saisir de 6000 parts du capital-social de la Société immobilière gérant le Pozzo di Borgo ; société elle-même gérée par Maixent Accrombessi.

Le groupe Kontinental aurait obtenu gain de cause sur l'Etat Gabonais devant les juridictions de l'Organisation de la coopération islamique (OCI). Les 6000 parts en question représentent 4,3 millions d’euros, soit 2,9 milliards de francs CFA. Kontinental avait assigné le Gabon pour non-respect de paiements relatifs à un contrat de construction de 5000 logements au nord de Libreville.

Mais coup de théâtre, le capital de la même SCI avait déjà fait l'objet d'une première saisie en septembre 2015, par Guido Santullo. Il réclame au Gabon une créance de près de 130 milliards F CFA.

Comme vous pouvez le constater, Ali Bongo n’est pas sorti de l’auberge.
