The testimony given by Mrs. Oyougou had for frame and structure the dignity of a woman who agrees to survive a personal hell instead of giving in to her tormentors and those of her husband.

Mrs. Oyougou, in clear terms, without verbal gymnastics, spoke to us about the noble and oh so crucial struggle of the construction of the Gabonese nation. A fight whose framework should be the reconciliation between Gabonese, the building of a durable social and political peace, whose conditions should be solidarity and progress shared by all the components of the nation.

By directly questioning those in power who are responsible for the incarceration, for his opinions, of her husband, this testimony, in its truth, is the ultimate victory of the just, over the camp of death and imposture.

Because few Gabonese victims of the Bongo regime, ever give such personal and profound testimonies, this blog would like to pay homage to Mrs. Oyougou by indicating to her that tomorrow, even those who torture her husband today will realize that they were in the wrong. Madame Oyougou, en des termes clairs, sans gymnastique verbale, nous a parlé du combat noble et oh combien crucial de la construction de la nation Gabon. Un combat dont l’ossature devrait être la réconciliation entre Gabonais, l’édification d’une paix sociale et politique durable, dont les conditions devraient être la solidarité et le progrès partagé par toutes les composantes de la nation.

En interpellant directement les tenants du pouvoir responsable de l’incarcération, pour délit d’opinion, de son époux, ce témoignage, dans sa vérité, est l’ultime victoire des justes, sur le camp de la mort et de l’imposture.

Parce que peu de Gabonais victimes du régime Bongo, font des témoignages aussi personnels et profonds, ce blog voudrait rendre hommage à Madame Oyougou en lui signifiant que demain, même ceux qui torturent son époux aujourd’hui se rendront compte qu’ils étaient dans l’erreur. N’a-t-on pas vu des bourreaux Sud-Africains implorer le pardon à leurs victimes, devant la commission « Vérité et Réconciliation » ? Un jour au Gabon, les rôles seront aussi inversés.

Le témoignage de Madame Oyougou a été complet, profond, émouvant et bouleversant pour tout Gabonais épris de justice et de liberté. Ces Gabonais ont fait connaissance avec une femme humble, intelligente, humaniste, courageuse ; un exemple pour nous tous.
