En 2009, devant un parterre de personnalités politiques venues assister aux funérailles d’Omar Bongo, Jean Eyeghe-Ndong décida d’entrer dans l’histoire par la grande porte, en demandant a ce que la constitution du Gabon soit respectée et disant ouvertement que certains voulaient imposer un futur héréditaire a la tête du pays. Ça c’était le grand Jean Eyeghe-Ndong que la population découvrait avec admiration.

 

Dans la foulée, Jean Eyeghe-Ndong démissionna de son poste de Premier Ministre et entra en campagne contre Ali Bongo. A partir de cet instant, il devint un pestiféré pour Ali Bongo ; qui une fois au pouvoir, ordonna au trésor d’arrêter de payer à Jean Eyeghe-Ndong ses émoluments d’ancien Premier Ministre.

 

Entre 2009 et 2021, Jean Eyeghe-Ndong n’a plus perçu les près de 200 millions de francs CAF annuels que l’Etat Gabonais lui devrait. Comprenez, chers lecteurs, que l’Etat Gabonais devait plus de 2 milliards de francs CFA à Jean Eyeghe-Ndong.
