Gabon, the richest country
in Africa on the basis of theoretical per capita income, is said to be
experiencing serious financial shortcomings that have resulted in Gabon
abandoning a helicopter at a provider company.
Indeed, for lack of money,
the delivery of a helicopter by Heli Technique to the Gabonese government has
been blocked for three years. The Gabonese state would be unable to honor a
helicopter maintenance contract.
The helicopter in question,
registered AS355 F2, belongs to the Gabonese police and has been immobilized
for more than three years in the warehouses of Heli Technique, in France, near
Meaux in Seine-et-Marne, while waiting to leave for Libreville. The Gabonese
state has still not paid the last instalment of a million euro bill.
In a normal country, the
Gabonese authorities would be asked to explain themselves; but in Gabon, move
on, there is nothing to see!

Le Gabon, ci-devant pays le plus riche d’Afrique
sur la base du revenu théorique par tête d’habitant, connaitrait de sérieuses pénuries
financières qui ont eu pour conséquence que le Gabon abandonne un hélicoptère chez un concessionnaire.
En effet, faute d’argent,
la livraison d'un hélicoptère par Heli Technique au gouvernement gabonais est
bloquée depuis trois ans. L'Etat gabonais serait incapable d'honorer un contrat
de maintenance d'hélicoptère.
L’hélicoptère en question,
immatriculé AS355 F2, appartenant à la police gabonaise et est immobilisé
depuis plus de trois ans dans les hangars d'Heli Technique, en France, près de
Meaux en Seine-et-Marne, en attendant de repartir vers Libreville. L'Etat
gabonais n'a toujours pas versé la dernière tranche d'une facture d’un million
d'euros.
Dans un pays normal, on
demanderait aux autorités Gabonaises de s’expliquer ; mais au Gabon,
circuler, il n’y a rien à voir !
