English version
More than anything else, ignorance is what keeps Africans behind in so
many ways. It is indeed ignorance that keeps us from knowing who we are and
identifying with our personal circumstances. By being ignorant of our
circumstances, we cannot really understand how others see us and why we are
under the conditions we are experiencing. When we are ignorant, we are likely
to accept anything as being normal and acceptable.
