IN GABON, ONLY RUDY ZANG-MILAMA WOULD HAVE BEEN AN ATHLETE CAPABLE OF QUALIFYING FOR THE 2025 WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS! AU GABON, SEULE RUDY ZANG-MILAMA AURAIT ÉTÉ UNE ATHLÈTE CAPABLE DE SE QUALIFER POUR LES CHAMPIONATS MONDIAUX D’ATHLÉTISMES 2025!

English version

World Athletics has announced the track and field qualifying standards for the 2025 World Championships that will take place in Tokyo, starting on 13 September 2025.

This blog took a look and realized that a single Gabonese athlete could meet these entry level requirements. Compare the entry standards above, with Gabon's records below. We are far from the goal because only the record held by Rudy Zang-Milama is below the entry level requirement for the 100 meter.
