WHAT JUDICIAL OR MORAL AUTHORITY COULD MARIE MADELEINE MBORANTSUO, THE PRESIDENT OF THE GABONESE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT, EXHULTS? DE QUELLE AUTORITÉ JUDICIAIRE OU MORALE PEUT SE PRÉVALOIR LA PRÉSIDENTE DE LA COUR CONSTITUTIONNELLE DU GABON ?

English version

A Constitutional Court president must above all be a leading moral figure. The person who occupies this position must have a symbolic dimension of being the incarnation of justice in the public opinion.

Dear readers, Marie Madeleine Mborantsuo does not represent any of this. She is the repository, in the eyes of the Gabonese people, of no moral authority.

The statutes of the judiciary enumerate in several articles the conditions that must be fulfilled by the candidates for the functions of the Judiciary. It clearly states that these people must, among other things, be of "good character".

It has long been established that Marie Madeleine Mborantsuo is of more than suspect morality. What right does she have to give code of conduit lessons to the Gabonese people?
