PARLIAMENT IS NOT A TRIBUNE FOR A CAMPAIGN. LE PARLEMENT N’EST PAS UNE TRIBUNE DE CAMPAGNE

Image
English Version
Ali Bongo has just called for an extraordinary session of parliament, so he could deliver a campaign speech. This is unacceptable and against the republican use of a parliament in a democracy. We let you digest Ali Bongo’s rants before parliament and will return with our analysis in the subsequent post.

Before the parliament that he had convened to present his record after seven years of plundering Gabon, Ali Bongo said the following:

25,000 students had their learning conditions improved through the rehabilitation of 23 schools and CES on the whole territory.

Commentary by Annoying Gabon: which 23 high schools and CES have been improved, and how were the learning conditions improved?

Before the parliament that he had convened to present his record after seven years of plundering Gabon, Ali Bongo said the following:

In general, efforts in all sectors, including the public sector, have created 60,000 jobs between 2010 and 2014, four times more than between 2005 and 2009. Period during which our country created 14 000 jobs.
Commentary by Annoying Gabon: False, it is impossible for the regime to have created 60,000 jobs since 2010 because all employees in the formal private sector in Gabon were numbered to only 41,517 in 2010 (figure Mays-Mouissi). Ali Bongo said that between 2010 and 2014, he created more jobs than previously existed in all companies operating in Gabon. He is sick this guy!

Before the parliament that he had convened to present his record after seven years of plundering Gabon, Ali Bongo said the following:

In the period between 2004 and 2008, Gabon was ranked 50th place out of 53 countries in terms of economic dynamism, for the period 2010-2015, we have radically changed the structure of our economy and strengthened our investment capacity. We have thus brought the country to the 18th place and we have established ourselves as the 4th African country that has experienced the strongest growth acceleration.
Commentary by Annoying Gabon: above are the best economic growth rates registered in Africa between the years 2000 and 2010 and between 2011 and 2015. Gabon is not on the list. What is Ali Bongo boasting about? Our source is "The Economist" magazine.

Before the parliament that he had convened to present his record after seven years of plundering Gabon, Ali Bongo said the following:

I wanted to speak to the Gabonese nation today, in a solemn and unique way, through its representatives that are the MPs and Senators.
Elected by the nation, you are indeed the representatives of the diversity of our people and our territories.
By choosing to speak to you at this special moment in our history, I wanted to make sure that everyone understood the situation.

Commentary of Annoying Gabon: when parliament is more than 90% composed of members of one party or trend, what definition of the word "diversity" in a democracy?

A LIAR TO HEAD THE COURT OF APPEAL. UNE MENTEUSE À LA TÊTE DE LA COUR D’APPEL

Image
English Version
On 14 November 2014, on Gabon Television, an element was aired in a loop, presenting Madame Paulette Ayo-Mba, along with her nephew Raoul Minko-Menguire, covering for Ali Bongo’s perjury against the Gabonese nation by claiming to have played (maybe at blind man's bluff) with Ali Bongo in the garden of the Presidential palace in Libreville, while Leon Mba was still president. We all know today that this story is a fable; but Madame Paulette Ayo-Mba continues to be rewarded for this act of national betrayal: she has been appointed by Ali Bongo to the position of President of the Court of Appeal of Libreville.
The Court of Appeal of Libreville is positioned at the center of any litigation concerning the eligibility of Ali Bongo. The appointment of Madame Paulette Ayo-Mba is not a coincidence, following the explosion of the trial balloon Sidonie Flore Ouwe, who was proposed to the same position. Ali Bongo needed a reliable person, he chose someone who lies to the nation …

THE FEW SOCIAL HOUSING UNITS THE REGIME HAS BUILT IN LIBREVILLE REMAIN VACANT. LES QUELQUES LOGEMENTS SOCIAUX QUE LE REGIME A CONSTRUIT À LIBREVILLE RESTENT INHABITÉS

Image
English Version
Gabon is definitely the country of paradoxes. While the regime itself has established that the housing deficit in Gabon is estimated at 160,000 units, for a population of 1.5 million; the few social housing units that Ali Bongo has built in Agondjé, still remain vacant and weeds already reclaim their space, as you can realize in the video above.
In a document titled "Housing Plan, ALHAMBRA Program," published by the National Society of Housing, the regime promised the eventual building of 30,000 housing units on the site of Agondjé, accompanied with garden areas, schools and shopping centers.
After having managed 21 trillion CFA francs of budget between 2009 and 2016, how many of the 30,000 homes promised in Agondjé have been built by the regime? Where are the promised garden spaces? And where are the related schools and commercial centers? How many Gabonese families are living in these social housing units?
Here is the social record of Ali Bongo; put him in fron…

THE DUTY OF TRUTH. LE DEVOIR DE VÉRITÉ

Image
English version
Two Gabonese parliamentarians have just posed an act that is too rare in our country; they have just required a duty of truth from Ali Bongo’s regime that presides over the destinies of the country. While many in Gabon are complicit in a fraud that is more evident than ever, these two parliamentarians stand out from the amorphous mass and take their responsibility before history.
If we can define politics as the art of governing the people, there is therefore reason to ask how could this be possible without the intervention, between rulers and ruled, of a good dose of trust, truthfulness and transparency? To this question, Jean Christophe Owono Nguema-and-Patrick Eyogo Edzang, senator of the 2nd district of the town of Oyem and MP of Bitam, respectively, have just respond by reminding the regime that it had a duty to honesty before Gabonese citizens it is supposed to represent?
The approach of Jean-Christophe Owono Nguema and Patrick Eyogo-Edzang reminds us all, yes all o…

Rencontres à Mitzic, Marcel Carrière et Georges Dufaux, Office national du film du Canada

English version
In a country where imposture has been elevated as a virtue and where they have deliberately killed critical thinking and self-knowledge; here is a documentary that will bring tears to those who want a progressive Gabon with an intelligent and performing people controlling their own destiny.
This documentary whose title is "Rencontres à Mitzic (Encounters in Mitzic)” was conducted in 1963 by a Canadian team and presents to us some Gabonese in Mitzic who have a fine and lively intelligence, and have an understanding of the geopolitical and geostrategic issues far superior than that of many of our contemporaries who like to boast of having traveled the world. These Gabonese presented in the documentary are certainly all dead today, given the life expectancy in Gabon which is barely of fifty years; but from where they are, they must be ashamed of us, for what we have done to their c…

ROBERT BOURGI QUESTIONS THE ADEQUACY OF ALI BONGO’S ELECTION. ROBERT BOURGI CONTESTE LE BIEN FONDÉ DE L’ÉLECTION D’ALI BONGO

Image
English Version
The shadowy character, the man of françafrique who was commissioned by Nicolas Sarkozy to ensure the installation of Ali Bongo in power, following the instructions of the Elysée: "Ali, nothing but Ali"; Robert Bourgi is this man; just made a statement to the Gabonese diaspora in which he dissociated himself completely from any support to Ali Bongo.
Those who supported Ali Bongo in 2009, such as Guy Nzouba-Ndama, Robert Bourgi or Leon Paul Ngoulakia, have all abandoned this adventure today, realizing that Ali Bongo is a disaster. We, who have never supported him, knew that in 2009. But in 2016, we are pleased that the initial supporters of Ali Bongo have since changed their mind. So let us together bot him out, and begin a new era for Gabon.

ALI BONGO ARRIVED IN GABON IN 1968: SAYS LEON PAUL NGOULAKIA. ALI BONGO EST ARRIVÉ AU GABON EN 1968 : DIXIT LÉON PAUL NGOULAKIA

Image
English Version
During a meeting with the Gabonese diaspora in Paris, France; Leon Paul Ngoulakia said, giving details of those who lived with him under Omar Bongo’s roof when the latter was the Vice-President of President Leon Mba, that Ali Bongo did not arrive in this family until 1968, that is to say, after the death of Leon Mba, or when Omar Bongo was already president of Gabon and that the family was already installed in the presidential palace.
This statement by Leo Paul Ngoulakia is important insofar as it contradicts many things that have been said by some people that we need now to track down and confront. For example:
1. You would remember the famous photo that the regime had the daily Le Monde publish, purporting to show Ali Bongo in the company of the Teale family in the early 60s, well before 1968. This photo was proven to be false by this blog and many other sources having examined it; but so far no member of the Teale family, not even those in the photo, such as Michel Tea…

ALI BONGO’S ROADS RECORD. LE BILAN ROUTIER D’ALI BONGO

Image
English version
The Emergence Booklet published by the Bongo regime in 2013, said that between 2009 and 2013, this regime had asphalted about 500 km of roads and wanted to push in 2016 to have over 3000 km of paved roads in Gabon (see image above).
We are in 2016, that is to say the day of reckoning. Publications of the regime say that instead of the promised 3,000 km of roads, it is about 700 km of roads that have been paved (still need to go check for the accuracy of this figure). The regime says to have realized the tarring of the following roads:
Mikouyi – Carrefour le Roy (146 km) Tchibanga – Mayumba (110 km) Ndéndé – Tchibanga (90 km) Mouila – Ndéndé (71.25 km) Ovan-Makokou (98 km) Port-Gentil – Omboué (93 km) Ndjolé – Medoumane (47 km) Moanda – Bakoumba (45 km)
After 21 trillion CFA francs of budget between 2009 and 2016, the regime presents 700 km of paved roads, when they promised more than 3000. The regime has thus realized 23% of its road promise.
Dear readers, here is Ali Bongo’s reco…

AN IRREGULAR BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS NOTHING ELSE BUT A FAKE DOCUMENT. UN ACTE DE NAISSANCE IRRÉGULIER N’EST RIEN D’AUTRE QU’UN FAUX DOCUMENT

Image
English version
During his recent visit to Africa Number 1, the Federal Secretary of the PDG in France, Dieudonné Aperano, acknowledged that the birth certificate presented by Ali Bongo in his 2009 application was irregular. But Mr. Aperano then tried to play with words by saying that this birth certificate, although irregular, does not disqualify Ali Bongo; and this is why we come here to say unequivocally that under the law, an irregular birth certificate is a fake document because it does not meet the standards set by the authorities to be considered authentic. We cannot say that a document of this nature is both authentic and irregular; it is a contradiction in terms. The document that Ali Bongo introduced in 2009 was a fake. Period!
What is an irregular document?
To answer this question, we consulted French law, the country where Mr. Aperano lives. French law considers that any person in possession of an irregular administrative document (except in cases of administrative errors, of…

ALI BONGO’S RECORD IN TERMS OF EDUCATION. LE BILAN D’ALI BONGO EN MATIÈRE D’ÉDUCATION

Lycée Jean Baptist Obiang Etoughe (photo : LJBOE)

English Version
Jean Baptist Obiang-Etoughe high school has on average 155 students per class for a sample of 8 classes. To bring the average of this school to Unesco standards that are a maximum of 30 students per class, it should be added to the 8 existing classrooms, 36 new classrooms, for a total of 42 classrooms to accommodate the 1243 students.
Even for the Nelson Mandela Application high school, there is a deficit since 39 students per class remains above Unesco's recommendations and to make the school meet the standards, it must be added to that establishment for the eight classes of our sample, 3 new classrooms.
The overall deficit of Gabon regarding school infrastructure, is established. Just for the primary schools, a report published in 2008 says that Gabon has all in all, 758 primary schools in the public sector. These schools employ 4744 teachers, 3278 which are assigned in provinces. The national deficit was estimated in…
