The date for Ali Bongo’s next coronation, has been
announced. It is 26 august 2023.
A coronation, according to the dictionary, is the act of
crowning a monarch; of anointing a ruler. This is what is going to happen in
Gabon, except that we will be told it’s an election. What a sham!
The electoralists who are asking the people to only go vote,
without any other organizing or guarantee, want us to believe that the people
who stole our votes in 1993, 1998, 2005, 2009 and 2016,
will now all of a sudden, be honest in august 2023. This is absolute
craziness.
Those who have rigged the presidential election in 1993,
1998, 2005, 2009 and 2016, are still in power and in place. They will undoubtedly
rig it again in 2023.
This blog, instead being blind and pushing people to be
ready to be disappointed and cry foul again about another rigged election, has
been trying to warn its audience that it is a lie to believe that any election
would ever be fair and transparent in Gabon as long as the Bongo regime is in
place and their sponsors abroad are giving them all the cover they need.
Gabon has wasted three decades because of political mediocrity
which comes from the failure to hold credible elections. For that, the country is
paying a high economic and social price that accepts injustice and mediocrity. This
blog think that we cannot afford to lose more time having the Bongos in power
because the country will continue to sink further and further.
It is unfortunate that many Gabonese have chosen to be
accomplices to the Bongos and Françafrique, by telling the people that
this time will different and that the Bongos would hold an honest election. No,
that’s a lie. France and the Bongos are ready for a coronation, not a democratic
election. Holding a sham election and a shameless coronation ceremony will not
deliver respite to this country.
It is time for Gabon to have leaders who will address the
significant deficit in democracy and good governance the country has inherited
from the Bongos. It is time for the country to get out of this impasse.

prochain couronnement d’Ali Bongo a été annoncée. Elle est arrêtée pour le 26
août 2023.
Un
couronnement, selon le dictionnaire, est l’acte de consacrer un monarque ; d’installer
un dirigeant. C’est ce qui va se passer au Gabon, sauf qu’on va nous dire que
c’est une élection. Quelle imposture!
Les électoralists
qui demandent au peuple d’aller voter, sans autre préparation, ni garantie,
veulent nous faire croire que les gens qui ont volé nos votes en 1993, 1998,
2005, 2009 et 2016, seront tout d’un coup honnêtes en août 2023. C’est une
absolue folie.
Ceux qui ont
truqué l’élection présidentielle en 1993, 1998, 2005, 2009 et 2016 sont
toujours au pouvoir et en place. Ils la truqueront sans aucun doute à
nouveau en 2023.
Ce blog, au
lieu d’être aveugle et de pousser les gens à la deception et à crier au
scandale à nouveau au sujet d’une autre élection truquée, essai d’avertir son lectorat
que c’est un mensonge de croire que toute élection serait juste et transparente
au Gabon tant que le régime Bongo serait en place et que leurs soutiens à
l’étranger leur donneraient toute la protection dont ils ont besoin.
Le Gabon a
perdu trois décennies à cause de la médiocrité politique qui vient de l’échec
de la tenue d’élections crédibles. Pour cela, le pays paie un prix économique
et social élevé qui accepte l’injustice et le dilatoire. Ce blog pense que nous
ne pouvons pas nous permettre de perdre plus de temps en ayant les Bongos au
pouvoir parce que le pays continuerait à sombrer de plus en plus profondément.
Il est temps pour le Gabon d’avoir des
dirigeants qui s’attaqueront à l’important déficit de démocratie et de bonne
gouvernance que le pays a hérité des Bongos. Il est temps pour le pays de
sortir de cette impasse.
