A hollywoodian birth certificate

The birth certificate presented by Ali Bongo in its bid for the 2009 presidential election is simply the stuff of Hollywood. It includes everything from fiction to special effects. The director of that comedy is one of the lackeys of the Republic, in the person of someone called Akagassa Okinda.

In his book, Pierre Péan says that due to the deterioration of Omar Bongo’s health, his evacuation to a more advanced hospital became necessary and given the crisis that existed between Omar Bongo and France at that time, the choice was made for the Quiron Clinic of Barcelona. He was hospitalized there on 11 May 2009. It is Pascaline Bongo, who directed operations in Barcelona; Ali Bongo did not set foot there, according to Pierre Péan. He accused Pascaline Bongo to having tried to make their father sign a will designating Paul Toungui, her husband, as his successor. Just like that, dear readers, we were far away from republican practices.

According to Péan, Pascaline Bongo returned to Libreville on 28 May 2009, saying that her father had told her that he insisted that the constitution be respected. She met Ali Bongo, to whom she said to wanting to launch a coup. Given that the constitution must have been respected, and that this constitution included an article 10 which clearly stated that the acquisition of the Gabonese nationality was a disqualifier for the presidency, Ali Bongo needed an administrative record keeping him within that provision of the constitution. This document, a fake birth certificate, was provided to him by Serge William Akassagha Okinda, then Mayor of the 3rd district of Libreville. Worse, that document was not established from a transcript of the original, but from a birth certificate number 20l/A3 dated on 28 February 2000 which was issued in the same borough hall, by the then Mayor who was none other than Jean-Boniface Assélé, brother of Patience Dabany and therefore a member of the Bongo family. No link has ever been established between the birth certificate Ali Bongo used to stand in the presidential election of 2009 and any authentic official document attesting to his birth in Brazzaville, Congo.

We will not dwell here on the various indicators showing that birth certificate to be a crude forgery; Pierre Péan, Luc Bengone Nsi before him, and many publications have already done an exhaustive demonstration of that point. It should nevertheless be noted that there are a number of facts inconsistent in the birth of Ali Bongo in Brazzaville. In their testimony, Josephine Nkama and Jean Boniface Assélé said in 2009, that Ali Bongo was born by Caesarean section and that the young mother had to flee the hospital a few hours later, please, because a civil war was ongoing in Brazzaville. This testimony in itself should be sufficient reason to reject this narrative of birth in Brazzaville; and for good reason:

1. The first inconsistency is that if this cesarean section had occurred on 9 February 1959 as the Bongos want us to believe; historians are adamant on the fact that the unrest in Congo did not begin until 16 February 1959, so a week after the famous birth of Ali Bongo. There was therefore no reason to flee because of gunshots in Brazzaville.

2. Caesarean section is major surgery that compromises the intestinal transit and requires several days before the mother is able to move. If this is true in 2014, one wonders how, given the quality of medical facilities available in Brazzaville in 1959, a mother could have been able to get out of bed a few hours after her Caesarean section, to flee the hospital and returned home with her baby. This story is pure fiction.

Dear readers, you have a mother who says that she gave birth to an individual who has no birth certificate; following a rare surgical procedure in Africa at the time; pretending to have fled the hospital a few hours after her cesarean delivery, something almost impossible; because of troubles that would start a week later, which is the icing on the cake of this falsehood.

Dear readers, you will understand that this Hollywood scenario of poor quality, the birth of Ali Bongo in Brazzaville, is equaled only by the stupidity of those who thought that the story would stand.

Un acte de naissance Hollywoodien

L’acte de naissance présenté par Ali Bongo dans son dossier de candidature pour la présidentielle de 2009 est simplement hollywoodien. On y trouve de tout, de la fiction et des effets spéciaux. Le réalisateur de cette comédie fait partie des piques assiettes de la république en la personne d’un certain Akagassa Okinda.

Dans son livre, Pierre Péan dit que suite à la détérioration de l’état de santé d’Omar Bongo, son évacuation vers un centre hospitalier de pointe devint nécessaire et vu la crise qui existait entre Omar Bongo et la France à ce moment-là, le choix fut porté sur la clinique Quiron de Barcelone. Il y est hospitalisé le 11 mai 2009. C’est Pascaline Bongo qui dirige les opérations à Barcelone, Ali Bongo n’y met pas les pieds, d’après Pierre Péan. Il accuse Pascaline d’avoir tenté de faire signer à son père un testament désignant Paul Toungui, l’époux de cette dernière, comme son successeur. Comme quoi, chers lecteurs, nous étions désormais loin des pratiques républicaines.

D’après Péan, Pascaline Bongo serait revenue à Libreville le 28 mai 2009, disant que son père lui avait dit qu’il insistait que la constitution soit respectée. Elle rencontra Ali Bongo à qui elle reprocha de vouloir s’installer par coup d’Etat. Vu que la constitution devait être respectée, et que cette constitution comportait un article 10 qui disait clairement que l’acquisition de la nationalité gabonaise était un disqualifiant à la présidence du pays, il fallait à Ali Bongo un document administratif le mettant en conformité avec cette disposition de la constitution. Ce document, un faux acte de naissance, lui sera établi par un certain Serge William Akassagha Okinda, Maire du 3ième arrondissement de Libreville. Pire, ce document n’est pas établi à partir d’une transcription de l’original, mais à partir d'un acte de naissance numéro 20l/A3 datant du 28 février 2000 qui fut établi dans la même mairie d’arrondissement, alors que le Maire d’alors n'était autre que Jean-Boniface Assélé, frère de Patience Dabany et donc membre de la famille Bongo. Aucun lien n’a jamais été établi entre l’acte de naissance qu’Ali Bongo a utilisé pour se présenter à l’élection présidentielle de 2009, et un quelconque document officiel authentique, attestant de sa naissance à Brazzaville au Congo.

Nous ne reviendrons pas ici sur les divers indicateurs prouvant que cet acte de naissance soit un grossier faux; Pierre Péan, Luc Bengone Nsi avant lui, ainsi que de nombreuses publications, en ont déjà fait la démonstration exhaustive. Il convient tout de même de relever un certain nombre de faits incohérents dans la naissance d’Ali Bongo à Brazzaville. Dans leurs témoignages respectifs, Joséphine Nkama et Jean Boniface Assélé avait déclaré en 2009, qu’Ali Bongo était né par césarienne et que la jeune mère avait dû fuir la maternité quelques heures après cette césarienne, s’il vous plait, parce que la guerre civile faisait rage à Brazzaville. Rien que ce témoignage devrait être une raison suffisante pour rejeter tout ce récit de naissance à Brazzaville; et pour cause:

1. La première incohérence étant que si cette césarienne avait eu lieu le 9 février comme veulent nous le faire croire les Bongo, les historiens sont formels sur le fait que les troubles au Congo ne commencent que le 16 Février 1959, donc une semaine après la fameuse naissance d’Ali Bongo. Il n’y avait donc aucune raison de fuir pour des raisons de coups de feu dans Brazzaville.

2. La césarienne est une opération chirurgicale majeure qui compromet le transit intestinal et nécessite plusieurs jours avant que la mère ne soit en mesure de se déplacer. Si cela est vrai en 2014, on se demande comment, au vu de la qualité des équipements médicaux disponibles à Brazzaville en 1959, une mère se serait levée de son lit quelques heures après sa césarienne, pour fuir cet hôpital et rentrer chez elle avec son bébé. Cette histoire est une pure fiction.

Chers lecteurs, vous avez une mère qui dit qu’elle a accouché d’un individu qui n’a pas d’acte de naissance; suivant une procédure chirurgicale rare en Afrique à l’époque; prétendant ayant fui l’hôpital quelques heures après l’accouchement par césarienne, chose quasiment impossible; à cause de troubles qui n’allaient commencer qu’une semaine plus tard, ce qui est la cerise sur le gâteau de cette fausseté.

Chers lecteurs, vous comprendrez que ce scenario hollywoodien de piètre qualité, de la naissance d’Ali Bongo à Brazzaville, n’a d’égal que la bêtise de ceux qui pensaient que ce récit tiendrait debout.
