THE SECURITY FORCES PREVENT THE FILING OF A LAWSUIT AGAINST ALI BONGO. LES FORCES DE SÉCURITÉ EMPÊCHENT LE DÉPOT D’UNE PLAINTE CONTRE ALI BONGO

The leaders of the opposition Front had planned to march with their supporters this Thursday, 13 November 2014, toward the courthouse of Libreville, to file a lawsuit for perjury against Ali Bongo. The opposition Front was prevented in doing so by the police who used force, including tear gas, to disperse the crowd. The Ali Bongo regime apparently believes that this lawsuit cannot be received by the Gabonese justice system.

Speaking of marching, though lately there has been a lot of that; marches in support of the regime, to show that "the people" in all its ranks, old, men, women, children, fetuses, sperm, ova etc., is behind its distinguished comrade, against all "sellers of illusions" who dare demand freedom and respect for the constitution in their country. So dear readers, we are witnessing a curious spectacle in Gabon: of regime supporters who can march, while it is forbidden to the rest of the Gabonese to do the same. Ali Bongo and his family do not march, but they are making their entourage run around. The economy does not work, but the regime wants us to believe that everything is for the best. At first glance, a comedian would say that Gabon is experiencing a conflict of transport; between those who can march and run, and all those whose locomotion is prohibited with tear gas. So much so that even the economy, tired of being tortured, now refuses to move.

This Thursday afternoon, one of our readers stated to us, with regard to the gassing of members of the opposition Front who were trying to move toward the courthouse, that classifying Gabon as a banana republic had become an insult to the other banana republics whose Presidents have normal documents; and that Gabon was to inaugurate a new category of potato republics.

In the potato field that is Gabon, the regime is inherently deficient, authoritarian, not present where we expected it to be according to its missions, a mafia on all facets and at the service of a family oligarchy ruling by force and money; but the big problem remains that the regime has at its head, a stranger no one knows the true identity, who carries false documents. It is a unique and unusual situation, which means that the entire State is now held hostage by a regime that wishes an incredulous population to believe that it is the product of the collective dream. Unfortunately for Ali Bongo and his family, it is rather a recurring nightmare that the Gabonese people are living, under their yoke. The Gabonese people know that the State in Gabon has become an abstraction; Ali Bongo is ineligible and yet is at the very head of this State, all the institutions supposed to uphold the law and the constitution are pretending not to see anything, but are asking those who oppose the regime to obey their legal orders that those in power trample according to their moods. In a potato republic we are!

In this context, even going to file a complaint at the courtyard of Libreville, in the most Republican way possible, marching on the street with one’s followers, becomes a crime punishable by a good tear gassing. The regime is now perched on a mountain of hypocrisy, one wonders how it could get out of if not by its strategy of a headlong rush! Some crazies are even offering to negotiate with the regime instead of toppling it. But on this blog we tell them: is there something to negotiate? Are they serious? To negotiate is to forget that the only conviction of the Bongo regime remains that what is theirs is theirs and what is the Gabonese people’s is also theirs. There is nothing to negotiate because as Pascaline said, the Bongos only stop occasionally to look at the "quality of the dogs!" Therefore, to the lackeys and servants of all kinds, we remind that the Bongos do not consider them better than us who are in the pack of dogs they despise, because one does not respect those they pay, especially when they are the ones going on bended knees.

The Bongo regime has decreed that the march of the Front of the opposition was unlawful, that the filing of the lawsuit by the opposition could not be done without endangering the republic. For this, it has mobilized its troops to prevent these two events (one leading to the other). The power there showed evidence of weakness and lack of perspective, as its actions will continue to maintain an unhealthy climate in the country. Repression alone is not sufficient to maintain a regime on its last leg. The latest events herald a return to the starting point for this regime, with the new direction being the same as the old: obscurantism! We are in the continuity of a family power that simply cannot conceive the establishment of a truly republican Gabon Republic. Therefore, the President may have a fuzzy identity, forged documents, fake diplomas etc... this is normal, we are in a potato republic!

Les leaders du Front de l’opposition avaient prévu marcher avec leurs partisans en ce jeudi 13 Novembre 2014, en direction du Palais de Justice de Libreville en vue d’y déposer une plainte de parjure contre Ali Bongo. Le Front de l'opposition a été empêché dans cette démarche par les forces de police qui ont fait usage de la force, notamment de gaz lacrymogène, pour disperser la foule. Apparemment le régime Ali Bongo pense que cette plainte ne saurait être reçue par la justice gabonaise.

Parlant de marche, pourtant ces derniers temps, il n’y a que ça, les marches à la faveur du régime, pour démontrer que le «peuple» est en rang serré, vieillards, hommes, femmes, enfants, fœtus, spermatozoïdes, ovules, etc., derrière son distingué camarade, contre tous les «vendeurs d’illusions» qui osent réclamer la liberté et le respect de la constitution dans leur pays. Alors chers lecteurs, nous assistons à un bien curieux spectacle au Gabon: les partisans du régime marchent, mais il est interdit au reste des gabonais de marcher. Ali Bongo et sa famille eux ne marchent pas, mais font courir leur entourage. L’économie ne marche pas, mais le régime veut faire croire que tout roule pour le mieux. A première vue, l’humoriste dirait que le Gabon vit un conflit de transport; entre ceux qui peuvent marcher et courir, et ceux dont toute locomotion est interdite à coup de gaz lacrymogène. A tel point que même l’économie, las d’être torturée, refuse désormais de se mouvoir.

Ce jeudi après-midi, un de nos lecteurs nous affirmait au regard du gazage des membres du Front de l’opposition qui tentaient de se diriger vers le palais de justice, que classifier le Gabon de république bananière, était devenu une insulte aux autres républiques bananières dont les Présidents ont des documents d’état civil normaux; et que le Gabon devait inaugurer une nouvelle catégorie, celle des républiques patatières.

Dans la patateraie qu’est le Gabon, le régime est certes défaillant, autoritaire, peu présent là où on l’attend de manière régalienne, mafieux sur tous les bords et au service d’une oligarchie familiale régnant par la force et l’argent; mais la grosse problématique reste que ce régime a surtout à sa tête, un inconnu dont personne ne sait la véritable identité, muni de faux documents d’état civil. C’est une situation aussi unique qu’insolite, qui fait que l’Etat entier soit aujourd’hui pris en otage par un régime qui tient à faire croire à une population incrédule, qu’il est l’émanation du rêve collectif. Malheureusement pour Ali Bongo et les siens, c’est plutôt un cauchemar récurrent que vivent les Gabonais sous leur joug. Les gabonais savent que l’Etat au Gabon est devenu une abstraction; Ali Bongo étant inéligible et pourtant bien à la tête de cet Etat, toutes les institutions sensées faire respecter la loi et la constitution faisant semblant de ne rien voir, mais demandant à ceux qui s’opposent au régime, de devoir eux obéir à leurs injonctions juridiques, que les gouvernants piétinent au gré de leurs humeurs. En république patatière, nous y sommes !

Dans ce contexte, même aller déposer une plainte au tribunal de Libreville, de la manière la plus républicaine possible, en marchant sur la voie publique en compagnie de ses partisans, devient un crime de lèse-majesté passible d’un bon gazage aux lacrymogènes. Le régime est désormais juché sur une montagne d’hypocrisie dont on se demande bien comment il pourrait s’en sortir sinon par une fuite en avant! Quelques illuminés en sont même à proposer de négocier avec le régime à défaut de pouvoir le chasser. Mais nous sur ce blog leur répondons: y a-t-il quelque chose à négocier? Sont-ils sérieux? Négocier, c’est oublier que la seule conviction du régime Bongo reste que ce qui est à lui est à lui et ce qui est aux Gabonais est encore à lui. Il n’y a rien à négocier car comme nous l’a dit Pascaline, les Bongo ne s’arrêtent que de temps en temps pour regarder «la qualité des chiens!» Par conséquent, aux laquais et valets en tout genre, nous rappelons que les Bongo ne les considèrent pas mieux que nous autres qui sommes dans la meute de chiens qu’ils méprisent, car on ne respecte pas ceux qu’on paie, surtout quand ce sont eux qui font la quête!

Le régime Ali Bongo a décrété que la marche du Front de l’opposition était illicite, que le dépôt de la plainte de l’opposition ne pouvait se faire sans mettre en péril la république. Pour cela, il a mobilisé ses troupes pour empêcher ces deux évènements (l’un devant mener à l’autre). Le pouvoir a fait là, preuve de faiblesse et de manque de perspective, car ses actions vont continuer à entretenir un climat malsain dans le pays. La répression seule ne suffira pas à maintenir un pouvoir sur les rotules. Les derniers évènements annoncent un retour à la case départ pour ce régime, avec pour nouvelle direction, la même que l’ancienne: l’obscurantisme! Nous sommes dans la continuité d’un pouvoir familial qui ne conçoit tout simplement pas la mise en place au Gabon d’une république authentiquement républicaine. Alors le président peut avoir une identité équivoque, des faux papiers, des faux diplômes etc… c’est normal, nous sommes en république patatière!
