According to La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo has appointed to new advisors to better approach the 2016 presidential election.

It is revealed in the article that the Interior Ministry headed by Pacôme Moubelet Boubeya, is preparing to give Ali Bongo an electoral win with 60% of the vote. For this fixed Presidential election scheduled for next July, Ali Bongo recently appointed two personalities whose mission would be to define his campaign strategy. It is in the role of Special Representative in charge of Political Affairs and the Social Pact, Antoine Yalanzele, a member of the PDG. The publication reminds us that Omar Bongo often met with his counterparts from Central Africa. As an example, it cites Omar Bongo’s 70th birthday, when we saw on the Presidential Palace of Libreville’s dance floor, the Gabonese President Bongo and his wife Edith, surrounded by Idriss Deby, François Bozizé, Denis Sassou Nguesso and Teodoro Obiang Nguema. La Lettre du Continent suggests that Ali Bongo would have all the trouble in the world to repeat such a meeting; a way of saying that his statesmanship is desperately lacking. D’après La Lettre du Continent, Ali Bongo se serait entouré de nouveaux collaborateurs en vue de mieux aborder la présidentielle de 2016.

Il est révélé dans l’article que le ministère de l’intérieur que dirige Pacôme Moubelet Boubeya, se prépare à attribuer à Ali Bongo une victoire électorale de 60% des voix. Pour cette présidentielle sur mesure de Juillet prochain, Ali Bongo a récemment nommé deux personnalités dont la mission serait de définir sa stratégie de campagne. Il s’agit au poste de Représentant Spécial Chargé des Questions Politiques et du Pacte Social, d’Antoine Yalanzele qui est membre du PDG. Cet ancien ministre et Directeur General de la CNSS sous Omar Bongo, d’ethnie Ndoumou de Franceville, le chef-lieu du Haut-Ogooué, aura la charge de ramener les cadres de cette province aux pieds d'Ali Bongo, pour ce scrutin. La seconde nomination est celle de l’ancien Secrétaire Général de la Présidence, François Engonga Owono, un Fang du Woleu-Ntem, qui devient Président de Caisse des Pensions et des Prestations Familiales des agents de l’Etat (CPPF).

La Lettre du Continent nous dit aussi qu’Ali Bongo peine à avoir des rapports avec les Chefs d’Etats voisins du Gabon. Cette publication rappelle qu’Omar Bongo réunissait souvent ses homologues d'Afrique Centrale. Comme exemple, elle cite l'occasion du 70e anniversaire d’Omar Bongo, quand on vu sur la piste de danse du Palais Présidentielle de Libreville, le Président Gabonais et son épouse Edith Bongo, entouré d’Idriss Déby, François Bozizé, Denis Sassou Nguesso et Teodoro Obiang Nguema. La Lettre du Contient dit qu’Ali Bongo aurait toutes les peines du monde de répéter une telle réunion; une façon de dire que les qualités d’homme d’Etat lui manquent désespèrent.
