The Frenchman Charles De Gaulle, an aristocrat who considered French and European values superior to those of other peoples, said of Africans demanding their independence:

 

"Negroes want independence? They don't even know what it is. If they want this independence, let them have it, let us give it to them, but the France must retain its prerogatives."

 

In fact, De Gaulle said that Africans were so ignorant of the political environment in which France had locked them up, that they would have no difficulty in giving them theoretical and artificial independence, while keeping these tropical countries under control, to continue to exploit the essential, that is to say African wealth.

 

Thus was born the infamous Françafrique, the absolute weapon of oppression of French-speaking Africans, which many African intellectuals, trained in the best universities in the world, accept to serve even today with enthusiasm.

 

Inside our colonial enclosures, the political elites reproduce françafrique patterns of promoting negligence and ignorance. The dumber the people, the easier it will be to make them swallow anything. Especially when the agents of the regime are the ones who should enlighten the people.

 

The crap observed in Gabon is maintained by the regime in power; to be able to organize and win fast, poorly organized elections that guarantee them to stay in power. To do what with that power? But to stuff themselves more, of course!

Le Français Charles De Gaulle, un aristocrate qui considérait que les valeurs françaises et européennes étaient supérieures à celles des autres peuples, disait au sujet des Africains qui réclamaient leur indépendance:

 

"Les nègres veulent l'indépendance ? Ils ne savent même pas ce que c'est. S'ils la veulent cette indépendance, qu'ils la prennent, donnons-leur, mais la France doit y conserver ses prérogatives."

 

En fait, De Gaulle disait que les Africains étaient tellement ignorants de l’environnement politique au sein duquel la France les avait enfermés, qu'elle n’aurait aucune peine à leur donner une indépendance théorique et artificielle, tout en maintenant ces pays tropicaux sous contrôle, pour continuer à exploiter l’essentiel, c’est-à-dire les richesses Africaines.

 

Ainsi est née la fameuse françafrique, l'arme absolue d'oppression des Africains francophones, que de nombreux intellectuels Africains, formés dans les meilleures universités du monde, acceptent de servir encore aujourd’hui avec enthousiasme.

 

A l’intérieur de nos enclos coloniaux, les élites politiques reproduisent le schéma françafricain de promotion de l’incurie et de l’ignorance. Plus le peuple est bête, plus facilement on lui fera avaler n’importe quoi. Surtout quand les agents du régime sont ceux qui devraient éclairer le peuple.

 

La chienlit que l’on observe au Gabon est entretenue par le régime au pouvoir ; pour pouvoir organiser et gagner des élections rapides, mal conçues et leur garantissant le maintien au pouvoir. Pour faire quoi après du pouvoir ? Mais pour s’empiffrer d’avantage, pardi !
