THE CONCLUSIONS OF THE INCLUSIVE NATIONAL DIALOGUE ARE UNANALYZABLE! LES CONCLUSIONS DU DIALOGUE NATIONAL INCLUSIF SONT INANALYSABLES !

Image
English Version   Dear readers, some of the conclusions of the various commissions of the inclusive national dialogue have been published. Unfortunately, most of them are unanalyzable, because in order to analyze them, one would have to align these conclusions with the objectives of the dialogue. But the objectives of the dialogue were never made available to the general public. So, the conclusions come a bit without any frame of reference.   Even more problematic, these conclusions are merely statements, without details. For example, when we read: "Providing Gabon with a depoliticized administration..." What does that mean exactly? What is it that makes the Gabonese administration politicized today? By what mechanism are we going to depoliticize it? How will we measure this depoliticization? It is these details that can allow for an objective analysis.   Without these additional details, how will the people who will vote in the referendum assess what th

BACK TO THE ONE-PARTY SYSTEM! RETOUR AU PARTI UNIQUE !

Image
English Version   On March 12, 1968, Albert-Bernard Bongo, newly installed President of the Gabonese Republic, announced the creation of the Gabonese Democratic Party (PDG) as a single party. All other parties were dissolved and the Gabonese were members of the PDG by birth. If you breathed the air of Gabon, you were a member of the PDG.   Why the one-party system?   According to Albert-Bernard Bongo and his French advisers in the Foccart networks, the multi-party system was a factor of disorder and division in Gabonese society. The Gabonese people had to talk to each other again and for that, the PDG was going to be the crucible of this new political, economic and social Eldorado.   On April 27, 2024, during the closing plenary of the Inclusive National Dialogue organized by the Oligui-Nguema regime, it was announced that the PDG and the rest of the political parties were suspended from all political activities, until further notice.   The reason?

English Version   In less than a month, Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema's inclusive national dialogue has been completed. If we listen to the regime's new bards, this dialogue would have been a great success. How do they know? No response.   •               The PDG is suspended. Is this a step forward? If so, why? •               Is the suspension of all political parties a good thing? Why?   If you look closely, what do the new sycophants base their satisfaction on? Why break out the champagne?   When we know that the decisions proposed in this forum of Agondjé will have direct consequences that could mark the lives of millions of Gabonese, for generations, we must observe more circumspection.   They can be proud of having suspended the PDG and eliminated its top executives from all positions of responsibility. But is that really important for the future of Gabon? Aren't the main challenges elsewhere?   Has this dialogue laid the foundation

IT SEEMS THAT THE GABONESE PEOPLE ARE ASKING FOR A STRONG PRESIDENTIAL REGIME. IT'S MADNESS! IL PARAITRAIT QUE LES GABONAIS DEMANDENT UN RÉGIME PRÉSIDENTIEL FORT. C’EST UNE FOLIE !

Image
English Version   For the past few days, we have been witnessing the publication of trial balloons by many compatriots, some even university professors, announcing that the Gabonese population would be in favor of the promulgation of a strong presidential regime. This is a way for these people to say that Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema should stay in power for a long time.   Dear readers, this is the kind of trickery that has led Gabon into the ditch we are currently witnessing. The Gabonese people have never said they want a strong presidential regime, and any Gabonese who prescribes such a regime for the country, is either politically illiterate or someone who eats their share next to Oligui-Nguema.   These "appellists" of a new kind even dare to push the callousness to the point of affirming that the French Fifth Republic is a strong presidential regime; which is very wrong!   In a strong presidential system, the government is not a collegial body ema

ALL MILITARY POWER IS IN ESSENCE DICTATORIAL! TOUT POUVOIR MILITAIRE EST DE FACTO DICTATORIAL!

Image
English Version   A dictatorship is any authoritarian political regime that is established and maintained through violence and intimidation. It is often an exceptional regime, but it is mainly illegitimate, because it was imposed without the opinion of the population.   So, the truth is that the regime that is ruling Gabon right now, that is, the CTRI, is a dictatorship.   When we have established this intellectual basis, we can then start with the observation that these Gabonese who tell us that the CTRI should remain in power for 5, 10 or 20 years, are in fact asking for a military dictatorship to be installed in power in Gabon indefinitely, if not permanently, way. Dear readers, this is a very serious wish for us Gabonese.   Dear readers, what they want to impose on us is the militarization of the state. That is to say, the reining in of the political and economic class. In fact, Brice-Clotaire Oligui-Nguema and his friends of the CTRI are in the process of

English Version   In a normal country, this gentleman would already be serving a long prison sentence. This gentleman who is at the center of all the shady financial arrangements of the Bongo-Valentins to the detriment of the Gabonese State, finds himself once again at the center of a huge agroforestry project in the province of Haut-Ogooué.   This is an agroforestry project in Léconi that is awaiting certification by the NGO Verra – a specialist in carbon offset projects, which has just been singled out by the English newspaper The Guardian. The project in question plans to plant eucalyptus trees, which are foreign to this ecosystem, on an ambitious area of 83,000 ha, under the pretext that these trees will allow an annual reduction of more than 1 million tons of CO2. The trick is that the promoters will recover an average income of $10 million per year over twenty years, i.e. a total of $200 million, i.e. at least 120 billion CFA francs. And who is behind this p

English Version   The picture above shows hydroelectric Hoover Dam, located at the border of Nevada and Arizona in the USA. It was built from 1931 to 1936 by President Franklin D. Roosevelt at a cost of $ 49 million (29 billion CFAF), during the great depression in the USA.   This dam is built on Lake Mead, an artificial lake built by the US government for this purpose; and has a capacity of producing 2080 megawatt (MW) of electricity. Today Hoover Dam generates electricity for   Hoover Dam generates, on average, about 4 billion kilowatt-hours of hydroelectric power each year for use in Nevada, Arizona, and California - enough to serve 1.3 million people.   Compared to many Gabonese rivers, Lake mead is nothing and dozens of Hoover Dams could be built in Gabon. If Gabon had only 2 Hoover Dams, there would be enough energy for the entire population in all 9 provinces.   But in today’s situation, the Kingu é l é dam in Gabon produces 57.6-MW hydropower. T
