In 53 years of power, the Bongo regime has been consistent in one thing: its meanness and utter lack of sensitivity toward the plight of the Gabonese people.

Because travel is now restricted, the poor and the rich have to use the same health care facilities in Gabon. This is forcing the people in power to realize that they must have invested in proper medical facilities.

The coranovirus crisis has demonstrated to us, via the Copil, the lack of proper medical facilities and the chaotic food distribution, that this regime is profoundly incompetent and incapable to do anything with a modicum of common sense.

When the members of the regime watch numerous Gabonese in poor neighborhood fight for distributed food, they must ask themselves what kind of society have they built?
