La Lettre du Continent tells us that the Supreme Court of Benin has just decided on the dispute between Bolloré and the company Petrolin, concerning the rehabilitation, construction and operation of the 1012-kilometer Cotonou-Parakou-Niamey railway line, which is valued at 70 billion CFA francs.

The Supreme Court of Benin granted Samuel Dossou Aworet, the owner of Petrolin whose main shareholders belong to the Bongo family, the exclusive rights to this line. Already, in 2015, the Beninese court had declared Petrolin the winner of this project, whereas this work had been attributed to the Bolloré group under the regime of Thomas Boni Yayi; a decision that was challenged by Samuel Dossou Aworet.

Samuel Dossou Aworet is so financially solid that he can support projects of 70 billion CFA francs without any problem.

La Lettre du Continent nous apprend que la Cour Suprême du Benin vient de se prononcer sur le différend entre Bolloré et la société Petrolin, à propos de la réhabilitation, construction et exploitation de la ligne ferroviaire Cotonou-Parakou-Niamey, longue de 1012 kilomètres, pour une valeur de 70 milliards de francs CFA.

La Cour Suprême du Benin a accordé à Samuel Dossou Aworet, le patron de Petrolin dont les premiers actionnaires sont de la famille Bongo, les droits exclusifs de cette ligne. Déjà, en 2015, la justice béninoise avait déclaré Petrolin adjudicataire de ce chantier, alors que ce chantier avait été attribué au groupe Bolloré sous le régime de Thomas Boni Yayi ; une décision qui fut contesté par Samuel Dossou Aworet.

Samuel Dossou Aworet est si financièrement solide qu’il peut soutenir des projets de 70 milliards de francs CFA sans problème.
