This weekend, Michel Essonghe, the boss of the Ceca-Gadis Group, which is one of the largest within Delta Synergy, the holding company of the Bongo family; Rose-Christiane Ossouka-Raponda the Vice-Presidency of the Government; and other influential members of the Ali Bongo regime; met in Washington, members of the Gabonese diaspora.

As the images above demonstrate, some members of this diaspora wanted to tell this delegation all the good they thought of their governance of Gabon.

This is what happens when a regime does not listen to the people. Eventually, frustrations set in, and the regime creates fires among the population. So, the regime is playing with fire. When a regime thinks that whatever the opinion of public opinion, whatever the opinion of citizens, it can continue to do what it wants, scenes like the ones we saw in Washington become a must.

Ce weekend, Michel Essonghe le patron du Groupe Ceca-Gadis qui est un des plus grands de Delta Synergie, la holding de la famille Bongo ; Rose-Christiane Ossouka-Raponda la Vice-Présidence du gouvernement ; et d’autres membres influents du régime Ali Bongo ; rencontraient à Washington, des membres de la diaspora Gabonaise.

Comme les images ci-dessus le démontrent, certains membres de cette diaspora ont tenu à dire à cette délégation tout le bien qu’ils pensaient de leur gouvernance du Gabon.

Voici ce qui arrive quand un régime n’écoute pas le peuple. Le ras le bol fini par s’installer et le régime créé des foyers d’incendies au sein de la population. Le régime joue donc avec le feu. Quand un régime pense que quel que soit l’avis de l'opinion publique, quel que soit l’avis des citoyens, il peut continuer de faire ce qu’il veut, les scènes comme celle que l’on a vu à Washington deviennent de rigueur.
