La Lettre du Continent, in its latest issue, considers that the fighting climate rife at this time within the Gabonese opposition, is inexorably leading them to a wreck at the next presidential election. This would be to the benefit of Ali Bongo.

Indeed, eight months from the election, the Gabonese opposition seems to be unable to organize and unite its forces to rid the country of Ali Bongo. Two main camps are competing. That of Jean Ping, who is touring the country in all directions, along with a team made of: Jean Eyeghe Ndong, Philibert Andzembe, René Ndemezo 'Obiang etc. On the other side, Casimir Oye Mba of the Union Nationale, surrounded by Zacharie Myboto, Paulette Missambo, etc. According to La Lettre du Continent, Casimir Oye Mba’s candidacy has the support of several Heads of State of the sub region.

For La Lettre du Continent, this rivalry between opposition members, contributes to its weakening and paves the way for Ali Bongo; given that in addition to Ping and Oye-Mba, Pierre-Claver Maganga Moussavou, and Jean De Dieu Moukagni Iwangou will also run.

The essence of the analysis of La Lettre du Continent, is that the fragmentation of the opposition prevents and shrinks a real mobilization of all forces able to kick Ali Bongo out.

About the airline company Nouvelle Air Affaires Gabon (SN2AG), which is currently in receivership; La Lettre du Continent announces that it could be taken over by Christian Bongo, once its liquidation is effective. Christian Bongo, who already leads the airline Nessika Private Jet Gabon, would have made an offer to this effect at the Libreville Commercial Court. SN2AG is a subsidiary of Delta Synergy, and was chaired by Hermine Bongo. Everything would be decided between Christian Bongo, Ali Bongo and Pascaline Bongo.

La Lettre du Continent also informs us of the project of construction of a cultural center in Mitzic; by Jean-Pierre Gallardo, the founder of the Forestry Operating and Export Company (FOREEX). Mitzic has been chosen because it is the birthplace of the Forest Minister, Andrew Crépin Gwodock; a close associate of Edouard Valentin, the father of Sylvia Bongo. Andrew Crépin Gwodock regularly grants contracts to FOREEX, which is an undeniable conflict of interest.

En effet, à huit mois de l’échéance électorale, l'opposition gabonaise semble être dans l’incapacité de s’organiser et fédérer ses forces pour débarrasser le pays d’Ali Bongo. Deux principaux camps s’affronteraient. Celui de Jean Ping, qui aligne des tournées dans toutes directions, accompagné d’une équipe composée de : Jean Eyéghé Ndong, de Philibert Andzembé, de René Ndemezo' Obiang etc. De l’autre côté, se situerait Casimir Oyé Mba de l'Union nationale, entouré de Zacharie Myboto, Paulette Missambo, etc. D’après La Lettre du Continent, la candidature de Casimir Oyé Mba bénéficierait de l'appui de plusieurs chefs d'Etat de la sous-région.

Pour La Lettre du Continent, cette rivalité entre membres de l'opposition, concoure à son affaiblissement et prépare le terrain à Ali Bongo ; vu qu’en plus de Ping et Oye-Mba, Pierre-Claver Maganga Moussavou, et Jean De Dieu Moukagni Iwangou se présenteraient aussi.

L’essence de l’analyse de La Lettre du Continent, est que la fragmentation de l’opposition empêche et amenuise une véritable mobilisation de toutes les forces capables de chasser Ali Bongo.

A propos de la compagnie aérienne Société Nouvelle Air Affaires Gabon (SN2AG), qui serait en redressement judiciaire ; La Lettre du Continent annonce qu’elle pourrait être reprise par Christian Bongo, une fois sa liquidation effective. Christian Bongo, qui dirige déjà la compagnie aérienne Nessika Private Jet Gabon, viendrait de faire une offre en ce sens au Tribunal de commerce de Libreville. SN2AG est une filiale de Delta Synergie, et était dirigée par Hermine Bongo. Tout se déciderait entre Christian Bongo, Ali Bongo et Pascaline Bongo.

La Lettre du Continent nous informe aussi du projet de construction d’un centre culturel à Mitzic ; par Jean-Pierre Gallardo, le Fondateur de la société Forestière d'Exploitation et d’Exportation (Foreex). Mitzic aurait été choisie parce que lieu d’origine du ministre délégué à la forêt, Andrew Crépin Gwodock ; un proche d’Edouard Valentin, le père de Sylvia Bongo. Andrew Crépin Gwodock accorderait régulièrement des contrats à Foreex, ce qui est un indiscutable conflit d’intérêt.
