An election between an outgoing president and a challenger is necessarily revocatory for the outgoing president, insofar as the question asked to the people is whether or not to renew his mandate.

Given that the Gabonese people voted for the challenger, one can conclude that the people showed Ali Bongo what they thought of him and his governance. From this moment, what would be there and left to dialogue?

In a context of social, political and economic crisis, the Gabonese people see only the departure of Ali Bongo, his revocation, as the only way for the country to recover its institutions and to forge a genuine pact of governance with a new regime.

Vu que le peuple Gabonais se soit prononcé pour le challenger, on peut donc conclure que ce peuple a démontré à Ali Bongo ce qu’il pensait de lui et de sa gouvernance. A partir de cet instant, de quoi voudrait-on dialoguer ?

Dans un contexte de crise sociale, politique et économique, les Gabonais ne voient que le départ d’Ali Bongo, sa révocation, comme étant le seul moyen pour le pays de recouvrer ses institutions à la dérive et de fonder un véritable pacte de gouvernance avec un nouveau régime.
