The announcement of the sudden disappearance, on April 20, 2021, of Idriss Déby, and especially the official account of this death by gunshot while he was in the theater of operations, leaves many people skeptical. Many people actually suspect a palace revolution.

 

During the announcement on State TV of Idriss Deby's death, the spokesman of the Chadian army, General Azem Bermandoa Agouna, had at his side the son of the deceased president, General Mahamat Idriss Déby, who was immediately announced as having taken the lead of an eighteen-month transition committee. But curiously, three of the highest ranking officers of the Chadian army were missing: the General chief of staff of the armies Abakar Abdelkerim Daoud, and generals Taher Erda and Mahamat Souleymane Ali, who were respectively the intelligence bosses of the military and of the army. The absence of the three generals creates questions about their whereabouts. Have they also been eliminated?

 

An unofficial version of the facts claims that Idriss Deby did not die in the theater of operations against the rebels, but rather in a shootout that allegedly erupted during a staff meeting held between April 18 or 19, 2021, far away from the combat zone, in which Idriss Deby and several of his generals participated. It was during this shooting that Idriss Deby was shot in the hip and died from those injuries. Four other officers and Idriss Deby's bodyguards were also reportedly killed in the shooting.

 

Even more curious, while Idriss Deby's funeral should take place from April 22 to 23 and that the new Chadian authorities have already invited several African heads of state to attend, Idriss Deby's wife, Hinda Deby Itno, is said to have taken refuge in Cameroon. So, what does this woman fear if it is indeed her son (her husband's son, in fact), who has taken over? Unless she does not trust this son at all, who allegedly participated in the assassination of the father!

L'annonce de la disparition brutale le 20 avril 2021, d'Idriss Déby, et surtout le récit officiel de cette mort par balle alors qu’il se trouvait au front, laisse de nombreuses personnes sceptiques. Nombreux sont ceux qui soupçonnent en réalité une révolution de palais.

 

Lors de l'annonce sur la TV d’Etat du décès d’Idriss Deby, le porte-parole de l'armée Tchadienne, le général Azem Bermandoa Agouna, avait à ses côté le fils du président décédé, le général Mahamat Idriss Déby, qui a immédiatement été annoncé comme ayant pris la tête d'un comité de transition de dix-huit mois. Mais curieusement, trois des plus hauts gradés de l’armée tchadienne manquaient à l'appel : le chef d'état-major général des armées Abakar Abdelkerim Daoud, et les généraux Taher Erda et Mahamat Souleymane Ali, qui étaient respectivement les patrons du renseignement militaire et de l'armée de terre. L'absence des trois généraux créée des interrogations sur leur devenir. Ont-ils aussi été éliminés ?

 

Une version des faits officieuse affirme qu’Idriss Deby n’est pas mort au front contre les rebelles, mais plutôt dans une fusillade qui aurait éclaté lors d'une réunion d’Etat-Major organisée entre le 18 ou le 19 avril 2021, loin de la zone de combat, à laquelle participait Idriss Deby et plusieurs de ses généraux. C’est dans cette fusillade qu’Idriss Deby a été touché à la hanche et a rendu l’âme suite à ses blessures. Quatre autres officiers et garde du corps d’Idriss Deby auraient également été tués lors de cette fusillade.

 

Encore plus curieux, alors que les obsèques d’Idriss Deby devraient se dérouler du 22 au 23 avril et que les nouvelles autorités tchadiennes ont déjà invité plusieurs chefs d'Etat Africains à s’y rendre, l’épouse d’Idriss Deby, Hinda Deby Itno se serait refugiée au Cameroun. Que craint donc cette femme si c’est effectivement son fils (le fils de son mari en fait), qui a pris le pouvoir ? A moins qu’elle ne fasse pas du tout confiance à ce fils qui aurait participé à l’assassinat du père !
